Story
Meet Chicken Little, a two and a half year old English Bulldog/Staffy mix. Chicken Little is a friendly boy who weighs in around 60 pounds. When he came in we thought he was hard of hearing but when he went under for his neuter we had our medical team look at his ears and they took out A TON of ear was, so that may have been the issue. In a loud and busy kennel environment it can be hard to tell whether a dog is actually hard of hearing or just overwhelmed by all the new stuff and noise. What we do know is that Chicken Little has the most adorable squishy face and loves walking on his leash. He is working on his leash manners and doing very well. Chicken Little loves to explore new areas and get his booty rubs. This pet is available for adoption on 11/4/2024 at 11:10 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. While an animal`s picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don`t Shop.
