Delilah is a people person! She is a sweet girl that just loves to be with her people. While she likes to play with other dogs, even more so she likes to be the center of your attention. She will sit on your foot like its a chair if she doesnt have your lap, because thats how much she wants to be near you. Shell watch TV like a human being and bark if the action gets too gutsy! She loves to talk, does great on walks, and just wants to overall be your sidekick.

Story
Im a sweet, friendly handsome pug looking for a furever family to love! I am true to my name; a little love machine. I am completely potty trained and have not had one accident, even when moving into a new environment with my foster mom. I love other dogs and have never met a human I didn't adore. I love nothing more than to sit on the couch with you while you scratch my belly. I'm very smart and know some basic commands and am eager to learn more. I hate to brag, but I'm something special and you couldn't have a better friend!

Story
My name is Rhonda. I definitely had a hard start in life. I was used by a breeder until I was no longer useful and then dumped. That past does not define me though. I LOVE to be by my person's side. I love my short strolls with my foster mom who is also teaching me fun new tricks like sit, stay and down. I love to learn ... well I especially love the treats. I sleep through the night snuggled up next to my foster mom and potty training I have down. I do not like unpredictable behavior so young kids and overly active pups might not be my perfect match. I chase and bark at kitty cats so definitely need a home with no cats. I am so much of a velcro little love and am soulfully searching for that family and even a chill pug or two I can just snuggle with forever. Do you think that family is searching for me? I know I am searching for them.

Story
Hi! I'm Rosie. My foster mom calls me Rosie Roo, and I love it. People say that I'm a Boston Terrier-Pug mix.I love playing fetch, playing with other dogs, and eating food. Oh, and I love my people, but I might like food a little more than I like my people. Just kidding!I weigh 24lb, do great in car rides, and am almost house-trained. When I need to go outside, I try to get my foster parents' attention by patting their legs with my paws or kissing their faces. My foster mom is still learning my cues.I have lots of energy! I wear out my foster dog sibling and still have the energy to play with the ball. I make everyone laugh, and I'm sure I'm one of the fastest dogs in the park. My foster mom says that I would make the most fantastic circus dog!My foster parents just stand in the yard and watch me run circles around the berry barn with my foster dog sibling, or they also throw the ball for me. I don't wear them out, but I sure get a lot of laughs out of them, and a lot of 'wows!'. Everyone says I'm beautiful, and I'm not sure what that means, but as long as it comes with a treat, it's all good!My dream home will have a secure yard for me to run around in safely every day, and an active family to take me on fun adventures to parks. I love cuddling with my family, so dog-friendly furniture is a must.At night, I sleep like an angel through the night. My foster parents let me sleep in their bed since I'm not crate-trained, and they want to help me feel loved through the transition. But they plan on starting my training soon if I'm still with them. But I'm hoping I'm not here for too long! Because I know that my parents are looking for me, and I have a bucket list full of adventures and snuggle times that I want to share with them! We'll make each other feel that our lives are whole, and we'll make each other go outside, which will be therapy for both of us. We'll age together, and when I'm gone, they'll say I was one of the best things that happened to their lives!Mom and Dad, I'm here! And I'm ready to go home!

Story
Hi, my name is Buster. My foster mom says I am pretty perfect. Now that I'm feeling better, I love to play fetch, snuggle and I am a ham for attention. I am almost completely potty trained and sleep through the night. Due to health reasons, I have had to stay separated from everyone, but I would much prefer a lap or bed to snuggle in. I tend to squeak or give a little bark (I am not a big talker) but I do get curious about everything around me. I know my coat still needs to grow in, but my charming personality outweighs any of my missing fur. I am a happy balance between playful and calm when needed. I am so excited to find my forever family. Is that you?

This charming 3-year-old, 13-pound Pug mix is as sweet as can be! Bourbon has a laid-back personality and gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers to enjoy his meals solo.He was found as a stray and is currently working on gaining some much-needed weight. Despite his rough start, Bourbon is a loving and gentle boy who’s ready for a forever home. He did test heartworm positive, but he’s undergoing the slow-kill treatment method, which has been very effective for us.Bourbon would thrive in a home that can give him the love, care, and good meals he deserves. If you’re looking for a chill, affectionate companion, Bourbon might be your perfect match!Could Bourbon be the one for you? Apply today to meet him!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Ever been torn between adopting a pug or a chihuahua? Love them both? Well, today’s your lucky day! Meet Feta, a 2 year old, 12 lb joyful and lovable pug-Chi mix (also known as a “Chug”). She came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Feta combines the best traits of both breeds! She has the iconic pug face, but as a mix, her snout isn’t as pushed in as a purebred pug’s. This gives her larger airways, meaning less snoring and better overall health for a brachycephalic breed. She’s also more athletic and heat-tolerant than a typical pug, with eyes that are well-protected, reducing some of the common challenges flat-faced breeds face. Her personality? Pure sunshine! Feta is playful, energetic, and full of happy-go-lucky charm. She loves every human and dog she meets, radiating friendliness wherever she goes. From her chihuahua side, she brings devotion, loyalty, and an excellent watchdog instinct, ensuring you’re never caught off-guard. Feta’s energy level makes her best suited for families with older kids who can keep up with her zest for life—toddlers and preschoolers might find her a little too much. She’s fantastic in the car, she is potty pad trained and is crate trained. When she’s not playing or exploring, Feta loves nothing more than snuggling with her humans and relaxing on the couch. Feta is an absolute delight and the perfect blend of two amazing breeds. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with endless love to give, Feta can’t wait to meet you! Feta is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Iggy! He is a 3-year-old, 30 LB pug who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding his forever home here in WA! Iggy is quite the character! He loves doing tricks for treats and is very motivated to do just about anything with the right treat in your hand. He walks well on leash and is ready to go on any adventure you have in mind! He has also gotten along great with other dogs in our care. Iggy would love a forever home that is going to take him on daily walks and adventures, as he loves to get out and explore as much as possible. He will also enjoy hanging out on the couch with his people, but definitely needs to get his daily exercise as he has quite a bit of energy. This happy boy is going to make such a great adventure buddy! Iggy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Pugsley! This gentleman is a 4-year-old, 18 lb Pug who came to the PNW in search of a loving home. With an energetic and bouncy personality, Pugsley is always ready for fun. He loves playing with toys, and you’ll often catch him in action, zooming around with a big smile on his face. He’s also a bit of a treat lover, so he’s easily motivated when it comes to training or just showing off his skills for a tasty snack. Pugsley gets along well with other dogs, making him a great addition to any household. He’s also quite well-balanced, perfectly embodying the playful yet chill nature of a typical Pug. When he's not bouncing around or cuddling, you’ll find him happily napping and recharging for the next adventure. If you're looking for a dog who's sweet, loving, and full of energy (with just the right amount of nap time!), Pugsley would love to meet you! Pugsley is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
Animal Profile:  Tattie is a 20lb, 6-year-old female pug that found herself in need of rescue when she wound up in the Moreno Valley Shelter. We saw her profile, and knew we needed to get her out! A cage is no place to live for a pugtato. She arrives Sunday 10/20 and we are excited to meet her! We discovered Tattie is blind in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living her best life!  Foster Update:  Tattie is a sweet, sassy girl. She loves cuddles, cozy dog beds, soft squeaky toys and naps. She wants to be part of all the family activities. She is thriving with our daily routine and takes cues from other dogs. She snores rather loud but has a quiet bark that she rarely uses. She can be pretty sporty in short bursts. She doesn’t love walks and will not go potty just because she’s outside (apartment life wouldn’t be a good fit). She needs time to explore the yard. She likes soft treats but isn’t very motivated by food. She can go up the stairs but can’t go down them (we’re working on that).   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog is arriving from San Bernadino via Wiggle Butts Transport on Sunday 10/20/2024. She will be available for adoption in the Seattle area. December 10, 2024, 3:14 pm

Margo is located in Texas. Transportation is available for any out of state approved adopter. Cost of transportation is $230 in addition to her adoption fee. Margo is a sweet, affectionate little cutie! She gets along with others and loves to play. We are not sure of her history but apparently she traveled some. Riding in a car doesn’t seem new to her. We aren’t sure of her breed but her curly tail suggests a Pug mix.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

I'm OK with dogs out in public and at the dog park (admirers are fine) but I do not want the fans living in a home with me touching my precious belongings, you understand Im sure. I have lots of energy and love to go for walks, play fetch and frisbee, play with all my toys, dress up, snuggling up to watch a good movie or read a book. I would do best with a family who is home most of the time, working from home, retired or able to take me to work with them. if you are in the market for the perfect Bulldog Princess look no further, hurry up and fill out an application today!

Story
Welcome Pumpkin to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year old Boston Terrier/Lab or Cattle Dog is our best estimate. She has a rounded head with an upturned nose which has helped us come to this breed mix. She knows sit and will sit nicely for a treat. She likes treats and takes them nicely out of your hand. She likes toys and will give up her toy easily. She is good on leash even though she does pull some. She is very happy and really likes attention. She is good with the dogs that she has met at the shelter. She is also good in her kennel. She is an adorable dog and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is vaccinated, spayed, healthy and ready for her forever home. She would be a great family companion and would be great with a moderately active family. She is active but will calm down and be relaxed after a small amount of activity. She in our opinion a perfect dog. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She moderately sheds and weighs about 40 pounds. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
