We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to Sicily! She is a 5-year-old, 28 lb Pug who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! She is currently living in foster care. Sicily (“Sissy”) is very sweet and loving. She does well in a crate (overnight and when we have to be gone intermittently). She loves to eat and to be around people. She is very social and makes friends quickly. She is great with our kids, ages 5 and 7. She is friendly with other dogs (likes to play with our two family dogs) and also does well on walks. She learns quickly and figured out how to use our dog door after only a few attempts. She likes to play with toys and explore the yard. She could do ok in an apartment setting with regular walks. She has high energy but is also happy to settle in on a lap. Sicily is going to make a wonderful addition to any lucky household that adopts her! Sicily is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $600.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Ever been torn between adopting a pug or a chihuahua? Love them both? Well, today’s your lucky day! Meet Feta, a 2 year old, 12 lb joyful and lovable pug-Chi mix (also known as a “Chug”). She came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Feta combines the best traits of both breeds! She has the iconic pug face, but as a mix, her snout isn’t as pushed in as a purebred pug’s. This gives her larger airways, meaning less snoring and better overall health for a brachycephalic breed. She’s also more athletic and heat-tolerant than a typical pug, with eyes that are well-protected, reducing some of the common challenges flat-faced breeds face. Her personality? Pure sunshine! Feta is playful, energetic, and full of happy-go-lucky charm. She loves every human and dog she meets, radiating friendliness wherever she goes. From her chihuahua side, she brings devotion, loyalty, and an excellent watchdog instinct, ensuring you’re never caught off-guard. Feta’s energy level makes her best suited for families with older kids who can keep up with her zest for life—toddlers and preschoolers might find her a little too much. She’s fantastic in the car, she is potty pad trained and is crate trained. When she’s not playing or exploring, Feta loves nothing more than snuggling with her humans and relaxing on the couch. Feta is an absolute delight and the perfect blend of two amazing breeds. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with endless love to give, Feta can’t wait to meet you! Feta is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.
