I may be an older lady, but the vet says Im in good health! They say I have got a strong heart, good vision and hearing, and certified lover girl. Really, he said that! I am working on my house training but no accidents as long as I go out every 3 hours or so right now. Hoping to improve those numbers with time.. I am living proof you can teach an old dog new tricks. I came from a home where they didnt really train me because they said I could get by on my good looks. I am working hard on it though and hope youll be patient and help me out. At least I dont have any bad habits? Your garden is safe from digging and I wont chew on your shoes! I am already really gentle and loving so I dont need any training on that kinda stuff. I just want to be with you 24/7, preferably your lap but Ill take a dog bed as backup if youre busy. I have many siblings so Im awesome with other dogs and getting along with my new foster siblings just fine. I am fine being left alone for longer periods of time because I have them with me. I also like kids and cats too!

Story
Boomer is a feisty guy chock full of personality. As he settles in and is losing weight he has discovered his booming little voice and investigates the yard and plays with the other dogs, involving himself in any games he sees. As most pug mixes do, he loves lap time and many cuddles. Boom-boom, as we call him, will need a home where someone is home most of the time to be his companion. While he loves dogs, human companionship is everything to him. Currently, he is working on his house training and is on a diet to lose weight so he can be his healthiest self.

Story
Tito is a handsome fawn/apricot pug, about 2 years old. He's sweet, smart, and stubborn - a typical pug. *POTTY TRAINED PUG ALERT!* He is now a perfect boy and since achieving his stats he has not had an accident in the house. This pug is smart! He is learning sit, lay down, stay, and waiting for "okay" before eating. He's also good on the leash, and less reactive to crows and squirrels on walks. Sleeps happily in his crate. Still working on coming when called, not jumping on people, putting up with ear, teeth and paw cleaning. He barks when left alone in the house, and we are working on that. A stuffed Kong helps keep him distracted for short periods, which we are slowly increasing. On walks he's very friendly and likes to interact with other dogs. He is just a boy that is excited to see everyone and wants to greet everybody so his energy can get a little high, but hes a young pug and that is totally to be expected. Tito is eager to please, good-natured, affectionate and intelligent. He likes his squeaky hedgehog toy and often has an attack of pug zoomies after his morning walk. Tito likes to play but is also a champion couch potato. Tito is very food and treat motivated. He enjoys his meals of kibble topped with cooked meat and veg. He needed to gain a little weight and now at almost 19 pounds is just about where he should be. Besides commercial dog treats, he also likes apples, blueberries, cheese, hot dog bites, and boiled egg (all in moderation of course). This adorable little guy would be a great addition to a home with another friendly dog or as the only dog. He just needs a bit of patience and love to blossom into the best pug he can be.

Story
I am a puggle named Dorothy! But just because they say Im 9 doesnt mean I act like it. My foster mom thinks I definitely have younger pug energy. While I love to snuggle, I also like to go for a walk and play a little. Some might say I am a perfect balance of couch potato and active. I absolutely adore all humans, including my 8 year old human brother. I sometimes get a little too excited for the toddler in the house, but I love her too. I love hanging out with the other dogs of the house! I had to take eye drops for a couple weeks after my cherry eye surgery and she said it was easy peasy. If I need to take a med, I will snack on just about anything so just wrap up that pill in a little cheese and I will eat it, no problem! I allow her to give me baths with zero drama. I have never had a single accident in the house and don't destroy anything (other than maybe a bully stick or yak cheese) so they very quickly put my crate away because I am very trustworthy. My foster mom says I am super sweet and so well behaved. Dont tell the other dogs, but my foster mom says Im pretty much perfect!

I am a friendly, silly pug mix looking for my forever home! People say I look like a puggle, but the verdict is not in yet on that one. I weigh just under 20 pounds and I like all dogs and all people! I am an active boy and love to run and go for walks. I am potty trained though may mark in new places especially if there are other male dogs around. I love to play with other dogs. I would love an active family or individual who has the time for me. I am very smart but I need to get settled in a loving home and have a routine in order to feel most relaxed. I am learning leash manners and manners for greeting people. I sometimes like to jump up to try to kiss you when I am excited. I would thus do best with a family or individual without small children. I can't wait to meet my forever human (s)!

She’s Sassy. Silly and Affectionate. Meet Chickpea - a small Fawn TriColored English Bulldog She was a breeder mama dog, protective and bossy. She’s done with boys dogs and dogs in general but is curious and will smell then try to dominate if allowed. She’d like a human to treat her like a princess and let her snore all day and give belly rubs, butt scratches. She is crate trained and follows routines well. She does not clue to when she needs to potty (likely a result of being an outdoor breeder dog). Due to her lack of house training and humping behavior - she would benefit from a breed experienced owner. She does not currently exhibit any allergies or medical needs. Compact size and now a healthy weight of 40 lbs. Vet guessed her to be just 3 years old, her teeth are white and no signs of aging. Heartworm treated and on prevention, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Hoping to be in her new home by the Holidays. Chickpea could be a city girl, live in a condo or apartment - go on leashed walks for exercise, sleep in a crate to stay out of trouble and enjoy patio time with humans OR live in a home with kids and a yard - her size and love of people make her a great family dog. Chickpea does jump up to give hugs since she's short and got little legs - she gives kisses.
