Story
Rehoming a sweet, affectionate, loyal pug I have been fostering for the past year. She was raised with her brother against the advice of pug experts and developed what a dog trainer called "same litter syndrome." As a result, she suffers from anxiety. She can be very sweet, but she needs to be the center of attention. She can be very aggressive around other dogs unfortunately. In fact she was adopted through this site to a home with dogs and had to be returned because she does not do well with other dogs. I repeat, she cannot go to a home with another dog. It will not work. She will do best, I suspect, with someone who has lots of free time and wants a little buddy following them around. And while she will want lots of attention and still has lots of energy, she is also a typical pug couch potato. She also loves cats. She has not had the best owners and just needs a home to give her a chance to live out her best life.

Story
Greetings potential adopters! Allow me to introduce you to Chuck - a handsome Boston Terrier/Pit Bull mix. At just 1 year old and around 47lbs, Chuck has already experienced a rough start in life, but he's ready to leave that behind and start a new journey with a loving family. Chuck was surrendered by his previous owners along with his brothers. The pups had very little socialization and were dirty, underweight and scared of everything! Chuck's energetic and curious nature will surely keep you on your toes, but his goofy and affectionate side will melt away any stress you may have. He will need slow and easy introductions with all things new, people and dogs. and may do well with older children who can understand his need for space and respect his boundaries. The key to Chuck and his brother will be PATIENCE, TIME, UNDERSTANDING, OPEN MINDEDNESS ( these pups had a traumatic life prior to the shelter!), ROUTINES and LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE! Chuck is neutered, we have microchipped and updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention. Story
Beckham, our handsome and quirky 1-year-old Boston Terrier/Pit Bull mix, is waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy weighs around 45ish lbs and is full of playful energy. But life hasn't been easy for Beckham so far - he was surrendered by his previous owners along with his brothers. The pups had very little socialization and were dirty, underweight and scared of everything! Despite his rough start, Beckham is an affectionate and curious pup who just needs a little extra patience and love to come out of his shell. He may be shy with new situations and people, but once he warms up, he'll shower you with all the love and attention you could want. Beckham will need slow and easy introductions with all things new, people and dogs. He may be best suited for a home with older children who can understand and respect his shy nature. With a patient and understanding family, Beckham will surely blossom into the charming companion he's meant to be. The key to Beckham and his brother will be PATIENCE, TIME, UNDERSTANDING, OPEN MINDEDNESS ( these pups had a traumatic life prior to the shelter!), ROUTINES and LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE!
