PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - WEMBLEY BREED - Pug/Chihuahua mix SIZE - About 10 pounds AGE - 1-2 years GENDER - Male MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Wembley is an adorable little fellow seeking the companionship of a wonderful adopter! This special fellow came to us recently from a central NC shelter where he had been found as a stray. Young and joyful, we are delighting in his company and he is stealing our hearts. Little Wembley loves people and he loves other small dogs. He is both a quiet and gentle soul and he would love spending each day right beside his special person! Fully grown at just about 10 pounds, he is a perfect size for most homes! Wembley is in good health and fully vaccinated. He will be neutered and microchipped in early December. Until that time, he is available for adoption only locally to Richmond, VA. We are seeking a home with an adopter able to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with him. A home without larger pets or small children, and with a fenced, secure yard will be in Wembley's best interest. Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Wembley and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Wembley at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting him and determining that he matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
