Story
Meet Cream! Cream is sad, she doesn’t understand why she hasn’t gotten a single app! She hasn't been picked by a family yet, but she's optimistic it'll happen. No dog should be without a loving home ... Sweet Cream is looking for a home for the holidays that will truly give her a chance! She is watching her friends go to their forever homes and she is still waiting. Will you give Cream the forever home she deserves? This is the kind of dog whose smile brings you out of a gloomy mood and offers that dopamine rush and “grateful for this moment” glow. She has a delightful, pleasant temperament, she's extremely resilient, friendly, silly, and loyal. This precious 3-year-old Pug mix is the perfect mix of sweet, cuddly, and adventurous. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch or exploring the great outdoors, cream is ready to be your ultimate sidekick. Cream craves attention and loves to be doted on. Mealtime is her favorite and she has a hearty appetite. A couple of issues – her former family who abandoned her, fattened this girl up. Obesity is no joke in dogs and Cream is now a bit overweight. The good news is she is on a healthy path now and will be happy to start a walking regime along with her managed diet, if you join her, she will be so excited to go along. Maybe you are in shape and want to help Cream get there? Maybe you want to trim down, too, and you can work on it, together?! Keep a human/doggie milestone chart? (UH I think this is an Instagram account waiting to happen?) Cream has a playful personality. she enjoys the company of other dogs; social, mingles, playful energy, light chase play, happy wiggly energy with her foster companions. She loves people; very friendly, loves pets and belly rubs, comes when called, total love bug, good manners, good on leash; She is house trained, and crate trained. Cream loves children, doesn't guard her food or toys. She isn't grabby with food. Her enthusiasm for life is sure to bring joy to any household. She has so much love to give. If you think Cream might be the missing piece of your heart and family, please complete an application on our website and her foster mom will be in touch. The adoption fee is $275.00 and covers her spay, vaccinations, de-wormer, first dose of heartworm preventative and microchip. Please apply at: http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
