Story
Meet DW! Once DW gets to know you she is so loving and snuggly. It does take her time to trust people and is very fearful at first. Once she does accept you, she loves to be loved. She loves her food, especially if she can get it out of a trash can. DW enjoys playing with toys and other dogs. She is perfectly fine on her own but does like having her person around. She does not know how to lead but we are working on that. She is learning manners but thinks she is a cat and should be on top of everything. DW is potty trained and will also go on a potty pad if she needs to and you aren`t paying attention to her requests. DW is approximately 4 years old. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Dulce!Dulce is the sweetest little Pug mix! She is almost 4 months old and weighs 12 lbs. She will most likely be around 25 lbs fully grown. She has the cutest scruffy fur and curly tail.Dulce loves all dogs and people! She plays hard and naps harder. If she can’t find a human lap to nap on, she will snuggle up with any dog that will let her. She is perfectly crate trained and almost potty trained.Dulce would love to have another dog in her new home. She does need to work on leash training. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Buster! Buster was surrendered by his previous humans at just 1 years old and heartworm positive. It takes time for him to be comfortable and show his true self. Originally, he was terrified of humans. Now his tail wags for feedings, to go outside, and when ready to play. He is friendly with his foster’s furry kids and doesn’t mind the cats. This kid is ready to be loved by his furever family. We need to make sure you gave extra patience, so he can bloom with his family. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
I got Lulu Belle from a couple whose two full-bred pugs happened to get too friendly and resulted in a litter of puppies. She won my heart over immediately. I recently started working longer hours and cannot give her the time and attention she deserves. She is all the wonderful things most pugs are known to be with a little extra excitement and playfulness due to her young age. She is a silly, sweet girl who is clever and smart, charming, and a devoted friend who will always be happy to see you. You'll know she's happy when she starts spinning in circles. It's adorable. Lulu Belle should go to a home with someone who has tons of time to spend with her and give her love. She does not need much space inside but enjoys some exercise outside, like walking or exploring the yard. I've found that she seems to get jealous of other dogs, so she would need extra attention in her new home. She deserves the very best!

If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link into your browser...https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiryThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Say hello to Curly, a fun-loving, adventure-seeking pug with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Curly came to us with a surprise—she was expecting! She was a wonderful mama, and all her puppies have found loving homes. Now it`s Curly`s turn to find her happily ever after. This little lady is full of energy and loves to run, play, and explore. She can be a bit of a diva with other dogs, especially the smaller ones—she likes to remind them who’s boss! But don’t let that fool you—after playtime, she’s often found curled up next to her furry companions, happy as can be.Curly *adores* kids and thrives on attention. She’s crate and house trained, though if left alone too long, she’ll use a pee pad if available. She knows a couple of simple commands like “sit” and “down,” and with her love of treats and attention, we think she’d love to learn more! While Curly can be a little food-aggressive with other dogs from time to time, she usually does just fine sharing—and she has no issues at all with water. She does get excited and might bark in the moment, but it’s always from a place of joy!If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and slightly sassy pug to brighten your days, Curly might just be your perfect match. She’s ready for her next adventure—could it be with you?Curly was born August 2022 and is located in a Foster Home. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost.
