Meet Bistro, an adult dog with a zest for life that`s infectious. He`s full of energy, always on the go, exploring his surroundings with a curiosity that`s endearing. He may be a bit shy and timid, but with patience and understanding, he opens up to reveal his cuddly side. Bistro has a unique quirk - he`s afraid of long grass, and his whiny, jumpy reactions can be quite endearing. His distrustful nature means it may take time to earn his trust, but once you do, you`ll have a loyal friend for life. He weighs 21 pounds and seems to be house trained and enjoys leading the way on a leash. He is cooperative when being kenneled but it is not his favorite place to be. He behaves well around teenagers, making him a great addition to any family, but we haven`t seen him interact with other dogs. Bistro has a unique way of communicating - he barks for attention and stares with those loving eyes. He demands attention and a lap to sit on while you pet him. Story
Oh, Bella! Where to begin… she LOVES food and cuddles. She will sleep the day away if you let her. She also loves toys and bones. Baths don’t bother her, or grooming; i.e. nail clipping time. She has been around dogs and cats; gets along great with both. She has been around little kids as well from all age ranges and does great. Loud noises don’t bother her, but if there is knocking at the front door, she will bark a few times to let you know. She will be your little shadow every where you go. She does circles when she is excited! She loves a comfy doggy bed and blanket. We don’t allow her on the furniture, but that is just our preference. We have worked hard to get her to where she is now. Bella knows all commands; sit, stay, cage, wait, bed, & place. She is potty trained and knows to hold it. She goes in the morning and the evening. All you gotta say is “potty” and she knows the drill. She is truly a sweetheart and deserves a loving forever home.
