Story
Seven-year-old Peggy is a sweet, fawn beauty with a happy-go-lucky attitude and a heart full of love. This laid-back lady adores being around other dogs and is happiest when surrounded by furry friends and her people. She is the definition of “go-with-the-flow” — gentle, easygoing, and always ready for a good cuddle or a leisurely stroll. Peggy is house-trained, crate-trained, and uses a dog door like a pro. She’s polite at mealtime and not food aggressive, though she’ll happily supervise if someone else is getting a treat. She enjoys toys most when another pup shows interest — she’s a bit of a playful copycat! Peggy also gets along wonderfully with children, especially her foster’s young niece. She takes tacrolimus eye drops twice a day and moisture drops as needed, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. If you’re looking for a calm, joyful companion to brighten your home, Peggy’s your girl! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. To learn more or apply, visit www.dfwpugs.com.

Story
Seven-year-old Pokey is the ultimate Velcro pug — wherever you go, he’s right there, ready to be your loyal sidekick. This lovable 15-pound fawn boy is equal parts playful and affectionate. He enjoys zoomies and tug-of-war with his pug pals but is just as happy cuddling up with his favorite human when the day winds down. Pokey is completely house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He’s a polite eater (though quick!) and loves taking all the toys out of the box to choose the perfect one for the moment. He gets along great with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets. Pokey uses daily eye drops and is blind in one eye, so he does best in well-lit spaces. He’d thrive in a loving home where his people are around often to shower him with attention. If you’re looking for a cheerful little shadow to adore you endlessly, Pokey’s your guy! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
Five-year-old Tic Tac is a charming, fawn winky pug with a heart as big as his bark! While he can be a little cautious at first, once he warms up, this Velcro pug loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite person and showering them with kisses. Tic Tac enjoys toys, puzzle games, and snuffle mats—and occasionally shows off his silly side by proudly parading around with socks or shoes he’s “borrowed.” He is about 90% house-trained, crate-trained (though he’s not a fan of it), and walks well on a leash—just be sure his harness is snug because he’s been known to wiggle out when something’s caught his interest! Tic Tac gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, but he’d prefer a home with a canine buddy and patient humans who understand he sees the world a little differently due to limited vision. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion with a goofy streak, Tic Tac is your guy! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
Six-year-old Miss Maggie is a sweet, gentle fawn lady with a calm, go-with-the-flow personality. She enjoys lounging on the couch, cuddling in a dog bed, and soaking up love from her people. Though mostly laid back, she’ll happily join in when other dogs start to play—and her silly facial expressions and adorable spotted belly make her all the more charming. Miss Maggie is house-trained and has lovely manners. She tolerates crate time when needed and settles after a brief protest. She eats prescription food to prevent bladder stones and does best with meals kept separate. She walks well on a leash, rides perfectly in the car, and takes medications and eye drops like a pro. Miss Maggie gets along beautifully with other dogs and could also do well as an only dog in a relaxed home. She would do well with adults or children and someone who appreciates a mellow, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving soul to share quiet moments and cozy cuddles, Miss Maggie might be just for you! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
Five-year-old Kyo is a handsome fawn boy with a flair for drama and a heart of gold. This Velcro pug takes “clingy” to a professional level—he’s happiest when he’s in your lap or at least within sight (preferably both). Kyo is house-trained, crate-trained (though he’ll serenade you with soulful howls about his feelings on that), and knows commands—whether he chooses to follow them is another story. He enjoys walks but likes to lead the parade, so a little leash practice will help him strut in sync. Kyo loves gentle children and would thrive in a calm home where someone is around most of the time. He might even enjoy a companion pug to share his royal court. If you’re looking for a loyal, expressive little shadow who will fill your home with love, laughter, and the occasional pug opera, Kyo might be your guy! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
