Curly came to us with a surprise—she was expecting! She was a wonderful mama, and all her puppies have found loving homes. Now it`s Curly`s turn to find her happily ever after. This little lady is full of energy and loves to run, play, and explore. She can be a bit of a diva with other dogs, especially the smaller ones—she likes to remind them who’s boss! But don’t let that fool you—after playtime, she’s often found curled up next to her furry companions, happy as can be.Curly *adores* kids and thrives on attention. She’s crate and house trained, though if left alone too long, she’ll use a pee pad if available. She knows a couple of simple commands like “sit” and “down,” and with her love of treats and attention, we think she’d love to learn more! While Curly can be a little food-aggressive with other dogs from time to time, she usually does just fine sharing—and she has no issues at all with water. She does get excited and might bark in the moment, but it’s always from a place of joy!If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and slightly sassy pug to brighten your days, Curly might just be your perfect match. She’s ready for her next adventure—could it be with you?Curly was born August 2022 and is located in a Foster Home. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story
Meet OJ! This tall, 40-pound bundle of joy might be part pug, part Aussie, and all personality. OJ is full of energy, loves his toys, and takes his job of protecting the yard from bunnies, squirrels, birds, and rogue leaves very seriously. He’s a zoomie pro—indoors and out—and would thrive with another playful dog (but no cats, please… he's way too interested in them!). OJ is food aggressive but does great when meals are served on opposite sides of the room. He’s kennel trained but much prefers snoozing on the bed with his human—just be ready for a bit of snoring. He walks fairly well on a leash but pulls with enthusiasm to explore the world. He’s great with the 3-year-old granddaughter in his foster home, who understands how to respect dogs. That said, due to his excitement and tendency to zoom right past little ones, a home with dog-savvy kids and no fragile seniors would be best—he’s got some strong “accidental linebacker” energy when he jumps to say hi. OJ is a sweet boy learning better manners every day. With continued structure and love, he’ll be an awesome companion for an active household.     ##2353867##

Story
Eight-year-old Abby is a laid-back and affectionate senior who loves cuddling up to her humans at every opportunity. This cute little couch potato prefers a relaxed and quiet home where she can sit in comfort, be doted upon, and sleep next to her people at night. Abby has ladylike mealtime manners, is housetrained, and is crate trained, though she can be trusted to roam the house freely. She does fine on a leash, but isn’t the biggest fan of going for walks, as they interfere with her lounging time. Abby would make the perfect low-maintenance companion for a family who is home frequently and as chilled-out as she is. Although she is cordial with other animals, we think she would love being the only pug. If you’d like to give Abby the princess treatment and receive lots of snorts and snuggles in return, apply for her at dfwpugs.com.
