Hi I am Jake! My foster mom says that I love my stuffed toys and like to shake them around and play tug of war with them. I am crate trained and know the command "sit." My foster mom says that I am potty trained as long as I am contained in a smaller area rather than having run of the whole house. I still tend to try and mark if not supervised. I do have glaucoma which requires me to get an eye drop in each eye twice a day for the rest of my life. My foster mom says that I will do best in a home with small dogs. My foster mom says that I need supervision when in the yard. I do not like being left out by myself to go potty and I will let you know! A/C is my friend so believe me, I am an indoor loving dog! All of our dogs are required to be INSIDE PETS ONLY. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, home visit, and 5 day sleepover.

Meet Riko, the sweet and loving pup who is sure to steal your heart! Riko enjoys long walks in the fresh air and loves spending time with his foster sisters. He’s also a big fan of his toys, especially his Kong, which he loves to fill with treats. This playful guy is fully potty trained and crate trained, making him a breeze to care for. Riko is dog and cat friendly, though he does appreciate a slow introduction and having his personal space respected. He’d do best in a home with older kids who can understand and respect his boundaries. Riko is a sassy little guy with a big, funny personality that will keep you smiling. When he’s not playing or going for walks, Riko loves taking cozy naps, although he prefers curling up on the couch next to his foster mom instead of his own bed. He’s a true “velcro dog” who loves being by your side and showering you with love and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll be your shadow, Riko is the perfect match! My adoption fee is $250 locall ly in Houston, TX   It includes all my vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment.
