Story
Cookie is a 5-month old Pug who LOVES to play, play, play! She is all puppy, and loves to run zoomies with other dogs, chew on sticks, and snuggle when she finally wears herself out. She is still working on housetraining, but she is making great progress. Please do some research on Pugs before taking one home; they do have some special care requirements due to their smooshy faces. Our adoption counselors can answer any questions you have. If you're looking for a lot of fun and a little mayhem in your life, Cookie might be the dog for you! The first step to meeting Cookie is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
One-year-old Thunder is a pug mix with a winning smile and a bit of curl to his tail! This young and impressionable boy is eager for training and responds well to loving boundaries. He is housetrained and crate trained, and prefers a solo dining experience. Table for one, please! Although he is polite with other dogs when they are not around his food, he is not particularly playful with them and seems to prefer the company of adult humans; he may thrive in a home where he is the only dog. His ideal forever family will have time to devote to training and make plenty of time for snuggles. Thunder’s foster mom reports that he is at his best when given consistent love, attention, and training, and he is quickly proving to be a loyal, affectionate, and obedient little guy. If Thunder sounds like your perfect BFF, apply for him at dfwpugs.com!

Story
Four-month-old pug mix Princess Rosalinda (known as “Rosie” to her foster family) is playful, mischievous, curious, and outgoing. You could say that Princess Rosalinda, who was found after being dumped in Dallas, is fully embracing the puppy life! Her favorite things include chewing on toys and bones, playing with other dogs, eating a full meal and asking for a second helping, burrowing under blankets, going for walks, jumping and running in the yard, and cuddling. Princess Rosalinda is highly social and wants to be near a person or another dog at all times. She is working on her housetraining, learning about the dog door, and is content to hang out in her crate as long as she has another dog in there with her. Her ideal forever home will have a securely fenced yard, at least one other friendly dog, and at least one person who is home most of the time to provide companionship, socialization, and training. If you’d like to add this affectionate and energetic little lady to your family, apply for Princess Rosalinda at dfwpugs.com!
