Tootie Lou is a sweet 2 year old Pug mix. She has a very pretty, shiny black coat with white tips on all her feet. Tootie Lou weighs 19 pounds. Tootie Lou is potty trained and crate trained. She was found as a stray. Tootie Lue is one happy dog! She thinks the sun comes up for her each day. She loves all people and wants to be near them. She wants all the pets and back scratches she can get. She will reward you with lots of kisses. She would love to cuddle with you on the sofa. She's not one that wants to run away from you at all.... your business is her business. She LOVES playing with toys and she loves removing squeakers. She seems to do well with cats. She can be a little bit standoffish when you first meet her but she warms up quickly to you. Once she gets to know you, she loves following you around and asking for attention. Her underbite makes her even more adorable! Pepper is good with other dogs after she spends some time with them as she wants to make sure they are worthy of her friendship! Buddy the bulldog mix is approximately 3 years old and came to us very underweight at 35 lbs. We’d like to see him closer to 60 lbs. He is neutral with other dogs, cats and kids, but not good with farm animals. He was found as a stray outside of Dallas and taken to be examined by a vet by a good Samaritan. Buddy is already neutered. He was michrochipped but his owner did not want this sweet boy back when contacted. We think it is their loss! Before going to his forever home, he will be up to date on his shots, heartworm tested and a couple small masses removed from his sides. We will get him back up to an appropriate weight. Buddy is a sweet, chill dude that just wants cuddles with his people and naps on the couch. He is crate trained and house trained and is quickly learning to walk nicely on a leash. He doesn't like the cold weather we had this past winter so his foster got him a sweater! He rides really well in the car and is a perfect gentleman at the vet. Update on Buddy! He is gaining weight and is back to where he should be at about 65-75 lbs! Unfortunately it was discovered that he is heartworm positive and is in the treatment process. This process will take approximately 9 months, during which he can be adopted locally. Please help us find this sweet boy a forever home! 6/1/24 update: Buddy is still waiting for his forever home! He is the perfect dog so I don't know how he still doesn't have a home yet! 10/22/24: I really don't know why Buddy is still here! He is so chill, great with everyone he meets including dogs, cats, kids and adults, and takes everything in stride! To help him get adopted faster, his adoption fee is partially sponsored and will now be $275 instead of $350. Please help Buddy find his forever home!
