Story
Meet Ruthie – Your Snorting, Snoring, Snuggle Buddy! Ruthie is a 2-year-old pug with a whole lot of personality packed into her adorable, wrinkly little body! Like any true pug, she’s a champion napper, an expert at begging for snacks, and a professional shadow—she’ll follow you everywhere! This sweet girl loves to be right next to her foster mom, whether it’s outside on the picnic table or playfully zooming around the house. She’s also got the signature pug soundtrack—adorable snorts when she’s excited and the most soothing (and sometimes hilarious) snores when she’s napping. The best part? Ruthie is house-trained with no accidents in the house and is also crate-trained. She’s a smart little lady who knows how to settle in when needed! Her favorite hobbies include snack time (okay, every time is snack time), getting belly rubs, and making you laugh with her goofy antics. Ruthie is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention, snuggle to her heart’s content, and, of course, get plenty of treats! Ruthie is a Female Pug that we estimate to be around 2yrs old and weighs 17 lbs.

Story
Meet Poof, a sweet and energetic little soul who`s looking for a forever home! Though she may be blind, Poof doesn`t let that slow her down. She is full of life, always ready for an adventure, and loves snuggling up with her favorite humans. Poof has a heart of gold and thrives in a friendly, loving environment. She may need a bit of extra patience as she gets to know new surroundings, but once she does, she will shower you with affection and loyalty.

Story
Ollie was my sister in law’s family pet for a few years, before that he was owned by another family. All I know is that with his first family he got hit by a car so he does walk with a curve in his back. And with his second family they loved him and gave him lots of human food, which was terrible for his allergies so he scratched himself nonstop when we got him. It was ignorance on their part, so when we got him he strictly had a science food diet (actual dog food) which he wasn’t very happy about but he got used to it. He’s a 13 year old pug that loves pets and naps, and he enjoys fresh air. We hope that he can go to someone that can keep up with feeding him, able to give him the pets he deserves and take him outside. He pees super long and takes a poop when he needs, so he needs to be taken out after he eats. Ollie can also start stinking after a week, so some dry shampoo between his bi-weekly baths would do some good. He needs his face and ears cleaned if you want him to be happy.

Story
Hi I am Jake! My foster mom says that I love my stuffed toys and like to shake them around and play tug of war with them. I am crate trained and know the command "sit." My foster mom says that I am potty trained as long as I am contained in a smaller area rather than having run of the whole house. I still tend to try and mark if not supervised. I do have glaucoma which requires me to get an eye drop in each eye twice a day for the rest of my life. My foster mom says that I will do best in a home with small dogs. My foster mom says that I need supervision when in the yard. I do not like being left out by myself to go potty and I will let you know! A/C is my friend so believe me, I am an indoor loving dog! I hope to find my very own family very soon. To start the adoption process, email us at happilyeverafter4dogs@yahoo.com requesting an application. This does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. DOB:03/16/18 Adoption Fee: $250.00 (Includes microchip registration). All of our dogs are required to be INSIDE PETS ONLY. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, home visit, and 5 day sleepover.

Story
My name is Junebug.   I am around 5-6 years old and am a bulldog or maybe a bulldog mix. My favorite activities are lounging, eating, and belly rubs!  Although I’m 65 pounds, I would love nothing more than to sit in your lap and stream your favorite show!  I love snuggles and would prefer to be the only dog in the home receiving them.  I’m a sweet, goofy girl that loves a routine.  At times,  I can get over-excited but I’m easily corrected. I can also be a little bossy so someone who has dog experience and can properly correct me would be good.  A home with adults only would be the ideal fit for me. I’ve been with Scouts Honor for a long while and truly deserve a forever home!    Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs January 27, 2025, 7:33 pm

Story
*Please know that people with Bulldog experience and vet reference need only to apply* Meet Princess, the sweetest little bulldog with a heart as big as her grunts! This lovable companion thrives on affection and is always eager to snuggle up with her favorite humans. With a charming personality, Princess is friendly to everyone—kids and dogs alike—bringing joy to everyone she meets. While she may be small in stature, her love knows no bounds. Princess prefers the cozy comforts of indoor life, where she can bask in the warmth of her family’s love. She’s not one for long walks; instead, she delights in receiving treats and gentle pets. Whether she’s cuddled up on the couch or playfully grunting for attention, Princess’s main goal is to be by her human’s side. And like any true lady, she is completely house trained. With her endearing spirit, this lovable bulldog is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend who’s all about love and cuddles! Princess is a female English Bulldog with an estimated date of birth of 1/1/2023. She weighs 39 lbs.

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING. Dave is in need of serious medical care. He has a chronic double ear infection that will most likely require costly surgery. HPA is not be able to afford this surgery. He has been placed on antibiotics in the meantime. Dave will need a consultation with a specialist and require on-going medical care. If that is not a concern for you, please submit an application. Dave will not be available for adoption (only fostering) until our vet determines whether he is healthy enough for neuter surgery and heartworm treatment after the course of antibiotics is finished.
