Story
Made For Your Lap Kira is a 4 year old, petite, affectionate pug who is ready to trade motherhood for the pampered life she deserves. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and incredibly easygoing. Her foster mom calls her the easiest foster she’s ever had! Kira loves smaller dogs, does well with other pups, and absolutely adores people ...especially when she can be the center of attention. She’s a deep sleeper (yes, she snores!), loves toys twice her size, and thinks meal time is the best time of day. She doesn’t require much exercise and would be happiest with someone home most of the time, ideally a retired person who truly wants a loving pug companion. If you want a loyal little shadow who prefers laps over laps around the block, Kira is your girl. Meet Kira! Kira is 12lbs of pugaliciousness - squishy, sweet and snorty. So far, favorite activities include spinning and snoring.

Story
Meet Nim – The Cutest Pug on the Planet! Nim is a one-of-a-kind little boy who will absolutely melt your heart. He’s a tiny pug, weighing just 10 pounds, with the sweetest short little legs and a rare genetic anomaly that gave him long, fluffy fur—making him extra special and extra adorable. Quiet and calm by nature, Nim is the perfect snuggle buddy, but don’t let that fool you—he still gets bursts of playful energy where he scoots and hops around in pure joy when he sees you. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and absolutely adores children. Nim has been with us since he was just 8 weeks old, and now that he is 2, he’s still patiently waiting for his forever family. Sadly, many people searching for pugs want the typical loud snorts and snores—but Nim is different. He’s a soft-spoken, gentle soul, and truly the most precious pug you’ll ever meet. This little boy deserves a loving family who will celebrate his uniqueness… maybe even give him his very own Instagram page to show off his cuteness to the world! Story
Meet Jay – Big Personality, Bigger Heart  Meet Jay, a tall, 40-pound bundle of joy who might be part pug, part Aussie—and 100% personality. This energetic boy loves his toys and takes his self-appointed job of protecting the yard from bunnies, squirrels, birds, and even rogue leaves very seriously. He’s a true zoomie professional, both indoors and out, and would thrive in a home with another playful dog to burn off his energy (but no cats, please—he finds them far too interesting). Jay does best when meals are served on opposite sides of the room from his furry siblings, and he’s kennel trained—though his favorite sleeping spot is definitely the bed with his human. Fair warning: a little snoring may be included. He walks fairly well on a leash but pulls with enthusiasm, eager to explore everything the world has to offer. He’s great with the dog-savvy 3-year-old granddaughter in his foster home, but because Jay can get excited and zoom right past little ones, a home with older or dog-savvy kids (and no fragile seniors) would be ideal. He has some strong “accidental linebacker” energy when he jumps up to say hello. Jay is a sweet, loving boy who’s learning better manners every day. With continued structure, patience, and love, he’ll make an amazing companion for an active household ready to embrace his joyful spirit. ##2353867##

Story
Meet Ray and Claud, a lovable 7-year-old pug brother duo searching for their forever home together. Born to the same mom and dad, these best friends have spent every day side-by-side and are happiest when they can share life’s moments as a team. Claude is the cuddly charmer with soulful eyes and a talent for cozy couch snuggles. Ray is the curious explorer who enjoys backyard patrols, toy time, and keeping Claude company on every adventure. Together, they bring twice the tail wags, twice the greetings at the door, and twice the love. These gentle boys are experts at napping, snuggling, and making people smile with their sweet personalities and synchronized zoomies. They’re looking for a family willing to welcome them both — because their bond is truly special. If you’re ready for double cuddles, loyal companionship, and a home filled with warmth and pug charm, Ray and Claude are ready to love you forever. 🐾

Story
Hi! Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m Beignet. My friends call me Benny for short. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m a sweet and social butterfly who found myself in the wrong place at the wrong time the week of Christmas 2025. I got hit by a car and someone gave me a ride to the shelter. They found out I had a pelvic fracture which explains why it hurt so much to walk! They also said I had worms in my heart. They made me comfortable and said I would need a foster by Christmas Eve, whatever that meant. Luckily my foster pawrent saw a post about me and decided to bring me home for Christmas! I got a comfy crate, lots of food, and three foster siblings and settled in for the road to recovery. Since Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve been here Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve seen the vet and have been a very good patient. I fit in with my foster siblings seamlessly and greet new friends with a sweet submissive demeanor. I have not had one accident in the house. I havenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t had walks on the leash yet but I love being pushed around in a stroller and taking in the fresh air! I love toys, but sometimes I pick up a shoe or a sock by accident! If you have some room for a little sweetness in your life, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d love to meet you. Truly, my only fault is that I'm not sure how I feel about those really small furry friends - pretty sure mom calls them cats. I've only been around one cat roommate so far, but I wasn't a huge fan. Preferable, looking for a cat free home! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
