Story
Meet OJ! This tall, 40-pound bundle of joy might be part pug, part Aussie, and all personality. OJ is full of energy, loves his toys, and takes his job of protecting the yard from bunnies, squirrels, birds, and rogue leaves very seriously. He’s a zoomie pro—indoors and out—and would thrive with another playful dog (but no cats, please… he's way too interested in them!). OJ is food aggressive but does great when meals are served on opposite sides of the room. He’s kennel trained but much prefers snoozing on the bed with his human—just be ready for a bit of snoring. He walks fairly well on a leash but pulls with enthusiasm to explore the world. He’s great with the 3-year-old granddaughter in his foster home, who understands how to respect dogs. That said, due to his excitement and tendency to zoom right past little ones, a home with dog-savvy kids and no fragile seniors would be best—he’s got some strong “accidental linebacker” energy when he jumps to say hi. OJ is a sweet boy learning better manners every day. With continued structure and love, he’ll be an awesome companion for an active household.     ##2353867##

Nim came to is as a breeder release. His mom has been adopted and he is now ready to find his forever home. Nim is super playful and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. We expect that he will stay on the small side so young children would not be the best situation for him. Nim is a year old and his adoption fee is $400. ##1725829##

Story
Walter, or should we day Sir Walter of Garland, is a distinguished 4 year old male English Bulldog who is a typical bully with his lower energy, sometimes stubborn, occasionally cheeky, completely cuddly, and always loveable ways. This chill gentleman is good with other dogs and enjoys saying â&#194&#128&#194&#156Cheerioâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 to them but isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t overly playful as he simply prefers to snooze in the sunshine or chew on his squeaky or bone toys. He is leash, house, and crate trained just as a good boy of the manor should be. He loves to be near his humans and would do well in a home without small children as he is all things bulldog and can innocently bulldoze small beings and might forget his manners if you have some food that he would like to taste. Because Sir Walter loves food and treats of all kinds, his love of snackies should make him very trainable and even help him to learn a few tricks. Walter is available for pre-adoption. All applications will be processed in the order they are received. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Meet Pearl - A Loving Bulldog Looking for Her Forever Home! Pearl is a 4-year-old Bulldog with a heart full of love. She’s sweet, affectionate, and a true couch potato who loves to snuggle up for naps. While she’s an absolute big baby, she does have a playful side and enjoys chewing on things, so make sure to keep toys and chew items around! Pearl would thrive as the only pet in a household, as she doesn’t get along well with other dogs or cats. She also would be best in a home with older children, as she’s a little more comfortable with a calm environment. Pearl can be a bit shy at first and may need time to warm up to new people, so we’re looking for an experienced adopter who has the patience to help her feel safe and loved. She’ll reward you with tons of loyalty and affection once she feels comfortable in her new space. If you think you’re the right fit for Pearl and can provide the loving, patient home she deserves, please reach out!

She is only around 45lbs, so she is perfect for small homes and travel. Xena is very well-socialized. She is friendly with children, other friendly dogs and senior citizens.
