Story
Nim came to is as a breeder release. His mom has been adopted and he is now ready to find his forever home. Nim is super playful and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. We expect that he will stay on the small side so young children would not be the best situation for him. Nim is a year old and his adoption fee is $400. ##1725829##

Story
Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com        Hi, my name is Dandy, and I am looking for my forever home. I am about 1 year young and 32 pounds of puppy love, they say that I look like I have a bit of pug/lab and other stuff, but what I hear mostly is that I am a very handsome dude. I came to the shelter as a stray, but no more because some very loving humans have taken me into their home to foster me, and teach me how to be a part of a family,  and they report that I am a quick study. My favorite thing is to play with my canine foster sibling, she is the best teacher ever and knows all kinds of games, I am learning to chase the ball, but I haven’t mastered dropping it yet, I much prefer to keep it and chew on it, I really like that. My second favorite thing is to snuggle and love on my humans, I didn’t get to do that before, so I am making up for lost time, I also get very excited and happy when the grandkids come to visit and play with me. My foster dad says that I am very obedient and don’t get on the furniture when told not to do so, he is also training me to learn the “invisible fence trick”, so I don’t go into the rooms where I am not allowed, the only thing I don’t enjoy yet is riding in the car, but I am getting better each time. I am potty trained, almost a 100% crate trained, neutered, and updated on all vaccinations. My only demands are that you let me be your most loyal friend, a couple toys, a ball to chase and a doggie bed. If you would like to meet me, please contact jgressett@sbcglobal.net February 13, 2025, 7:52 pm

Story
One-year-old Thunder is a pug mix with a winning smile and a bit of curl to his tail! This young and impressionable boy is eager for training and responds well to loving boundaries. He is housetrained and crate trained, and prefers a solo dining experience. Table for one, please! Although he is polite with other dogs when they are not around his food, he is not particularly playful with them and seems to prefer the company of adult humans; he may thrive in a home where he is the only dog. His ideal forever family will have time to devote to training and make plenty of time for snuggles. Thunder’s foster mom reports that he is at his best when given consistent love, attention, and training, and he is quickly proving to be a loyal, affectionate, and obedient little guy. If Thunder sounds like your perfect BFF, apply for him at dfwpugs.com!

Story
Eight-year-old Murphy is a handsome senior with an energetic side! He enjoys cuddling with his humans on the couch and watching TV, but also loves chasing other dogs and playing with toys. Murphy’s other favorite pastimes include going for walks, wolfing down his food, engaging in attempted food thievery from other dogs’ bowls, and snoozing in various locations throughout the house (including on human beds, under human beds, on the couch, and in the crate). Murphy is housetrained, crate trained, doggie door trained, and responds well to verbal corrections from his people. As a born explorer with a curious side, he is occasionally tempted to bolt out of the front door to see all of the happenings in the neighborhood; his ideal forever family will be prepared with bolting prevention tactics (which could include treats, as Murphy loves his food). If you’re looking for a senior who enjoys mellow moments and playtime in equal measure, Murphy could be the perfect companion for you! Apply for him at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Meet Pearl - A Loving Bulldog Looking for Her Forever Home! Pearl is a 4-year-old Bulldog with a heart full of love. She’s sweet, affectionate, and a true couch potato who loves to snuggle up for naps. While she’s an absolute big baby, she does have a playful side and enjoys chewing on things, so make sure to keep toys and chew items around! Pearl would thrive as the only pet in a household, as she doesn’t get along well with other dogs or cats. She also would be best in a home with older children, as she’s a little more comfortable with a calm environment. Pearl can be a bit shy at first and may need time to warm up to new people, so we’re looking for an experienced adopter who has the patience to help her feel safe and loved. She’ll reward you with tons of loyalty and affection once she feels comfortable in her new space. If you think you’re the right fit for Pearl and can provide the loving, patient home she deserves, please reach out!
