Meet Buster! Buster was surrendered by his previous humans at just 1 years old and heartworm positive. It takes time for him to be comfortable and show his true self. Originally, he was terrified of humans. Now his tail wags for feedings, to go outside, and when ready to play. He is friendly with his foster’s furry kids and doesn’t mind the cats. This kid is ready to be loved by his furever family. Meet DW! Once DW gets to know you she is so loving and snuggly. It does take her time to trust people and is very fearful at first. Once she does accept you, she loves to be loved. She loves her food, especially if she can get it out of a trash can. DW enjoys playing with toys and other dogs. She is perfectly fine on her own but does like having her person around. She does not know how to lead but we are working on that. She is learning manners but thinks she is a cat and should be on top of everything. DW is potty trained and will also go on a potty pad if she needs to and you aren`t paying attention to her requests. DW is approximately 4 years old. Story
Coco is being fostered in PA and has some vision. Coco is a very, very sweet girl whose favorite pastime is napping. She loves being scratched just about anywhere by her human and is a very go-with-the-flow girl, being great with people of all ages. She is wonderful with other dogs and cats if they do not get right in her face. Even then, she'll just give them a sharp bark to try to get them to leave. Her high-strung, young, maltipoo foster brother is NOT her favorite at all. She is a champion sleeper and often needs to be awakened to eat her breakfast and dinner. She will not indicate a need to go outside but is very aware that outside means "potty time" and she gets right down to business. She has trimmed down quite a bit and should still lose a few pounds, but she is moving much better since losing the 7 pounds she has. She loves being outside to sniff around and to just sit and sniff. She is not a fan of leash walks and will simply sit after a couple minutes. If you are looking for a sweet, well-behaved couch potato, Coco is definitely your girl! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
