Meet Buster! Buster was surrendered by his previous humans at just 1 years old and heartworm positive. It takes time for him to be comfortable and show his true self. Originally, he was terrified of humans. Now his tail wags for feedings, to go outside, and when ready to play. He is friendly with his foster’s furry kids and doesn’t mind the cats. This kid is ready to be loved by his furever family. We need to make sure you gave extra patience, so he can bloom with his family.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Meet DW! Once DW gets to know you she is so loving and snuggly. It does take her time to trust people and is very fearful at first. Once she does accept you, she loves to be loved. She loves her food, especially if she can get it out of a trash can. DW enjoys playing with toys and other dogs. She is perfectly fine on her own but does like having her person around. She does not know how to lead but we are working on that. She is learning manners but thinks she is a cat and should be on top of everything. DW is potty trained and will also go on a potty pad if she needs to and you aren`t paying attention to her requests. DW is approximately 4 years old.
