Story
Pearl gurl is so sweet. She is 16+ years old now. I adopted her from a shelter in 2016. Age has caught up with her and she needs a home where caregiver is present during the day to assist her with going to potty. Pearl is significantly blind now. She can see somewhat but has declined this last year. She is an indoor Chi-pug - yet likes to go potty outside 4 times a day and at night before bed- she is older now and walks very slow with the blindness and is insecure. She needs a patient caregiver who understands the geriatric dog. I recently moved to Nashville for a job to a small apartment and am at work long hours. Pearl needs more attention and love than I can give. My heart is sad to rehome her yet, I know she needs more care that I cannot give right now. I want a loving home for her during this golden season for her. I have a nice carrier for her and bedding with leash and vest she likes. I love her so very much and want her to have the best life.🧡

Story
Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Hubert!!  He has a special name because he is such a special boy.  This 11 month old 10 lb boy is as strong and resilient as any little boy could be.  And what a love bug!!!  He just wants to be where you are and hopefully that is in the sunshine.  Hubert's most favorite place of all is in the sun.  He loves to lay there and relax.  At first glance you don't realize that Hubert is special needs.  In his home Hubert knows whwere everything is so he has no problem finding his way around.  He even runs and plays.  Unfortunately though Hubert was born with congenital hydrocephalus (commonly known as water on the brain) which is a condition where there is too much cerebrospinal fluid in the skull.  Hubert has a mild or moderate case so he can live a healthy life.  Early diagnosis and treatment can result in as much as an 80% success rate.  This sweet little boy does have some vision and hearing loss and he does do a bit of circling.  Other than that you would have no idea.  Critter Cavalry is looking for a loving foster home for Hubert so he can get the vet care he needs to have the best life possible.  With this help he will be able to find his forever family.  If you would like to open your home and your heart to help Hubert please contact Vivienne directly at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615-943-7311.  (Critter Cavalry is responsible for any of Hurbert's  vet bills and medications throuh  one of our partner vets.)December 7, 2024, 4:27 pm
