Meet Adele!  Adele is a one and a half year old miracle! Her feet never touched grass until a month ago. Hoarding is real! She birthed and raised four beautiful puppies for five weeks. They are all healthy and will be up for adoption soon. She is a lover but timid…she needs just the right home… a dog to play with, a quiet home and someone to show her the ropes! She will be your best friend…and snuggle buddy!     She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Olly Is an adaptable companion who is small, sturdy, and very playful. Pugs are highly adaptable, full of character and thrive in different environments. They are playful, with lots of energy, making them a popular dog for families with or without children. Olly was born in Fort Worth Texas, he is a 5 year old boy. I believe Olly would be great as an emotional support dog he loves to give kisses and snuggle, or to a family with kids that would enjoy to take him for walks which he loves as well.

Kiwi was found sitting in the road in a neighborhood. When someone stopped to help her they heard 2 puppies crying. Pups were found wrapped in a towel in the ditch. We took Kiwi and the pups in and all were healthy and now adopted. Kiwi is hilarious!!! She has full on fun pug personality. She listens off leash, is crate trained and house broken. She LOVES to be snuggled!! She loves to play with ANY dog, kid or human. She seriously adores everyone and everything. You simply can't ask for a better disposition. Kiwi is having her "cherry eye" fixed soon and it should cause any issues down the road. We just simply love this girl.

Pixel is the smallest of 4 little girl puppies brought to us. (They are all available & all wonderful!) Pixel is the one in my foster care. She has been with us since the beginning of October and is doing beautifully. She loves her 2 foster sisters in the home, a Dalmatian & a Chihuahua mix. She is extremely playful but also very cuddly and loving. Pixel is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed and already on heartworm prevention. This pet is NOT available through Mountain Pet Rescue.  Please do NOT contact MPR for information about the pet or apply to adopt this pet on the MPR website.  Contact karen.starranch@gmail.com for more information or to adopt the pet.Chubbs and Kizzie have been bonded since birth.  They move in tandem, groom each other, eat side by side, sleep together, etc.Chubbs is losing a few pounds and looking better.  Chubbs has floppy ears; Kizzie has perk ears.  Chubbs is more affectionate: Kizzie loves to play. Neither one has good bathroom habits, never saw a pee pad, and I have to coax them outside to go.  Based on the little we know, they spent far too long in crates.  For now, they are having a blast, not being crated all day.  Fit in fine with my pack of dogs and 2 cats. They are especially needy and excited to be near me. I'm trying to calm them down so they know affection is always available.  Doing better. They sleep together on the loveseat in my bedroom through the night. It appears they have only had each other and not much from a human.I would like to see them never experience a crate again. Meet Hoshi!  Hoshi is finally ready to find her forever home and lap. After living on the streets for way too long, Animal Control was able to catch her and bring her to Anderson PAWS. She tested high positive for heartworms and recently finished treatment. Hoshi is full of snuggles and kisses. She is so thankful to be loved and safe, and wants to show you her appreciation constantly. She is the ultimate velcro dog and prefers zero personal space. She is very playful and loves to show off her toys (but refuses to clean them up!)   Hoshi does have a chronic hip dislocation, but that doesn't slow her down. She has been seen by a vet, and for now, they don't believe surgery is necessary. It is possible that Hoshi will need future treatment if the injury becomes painful for her. Potential adopters should have plenty of storage space on their camera, because you will want to take thousands of photos of Hoshi and her tongue. She's perfection!   She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention.
