Story
Lizzie is a lively bundle of pug energy, ready to bring laughter and joy into your home! At 5 years old, she`s bursting with enthusiasm for life and is always on the lookout for her next adventure. Lizzie`s playful spirit is infectious, and she`s guaranteed to keep you entertained with her antics and silly expressions. Despite the changes in her life, Lizzie`s resilient spirit shines through. She`s eager to find a forever home where she can shower her new family with affection and laughter. Lizzie would thrive in a home where her lively personality is embraced. She adores human companionship and would make a fantastic addition to a loving household. Lizzie loves nothing more than playtime, whether it`s chasing toys in the backyard or snuggling up on the couch for some cuddles. She`s spayed, microchipped, health-checked and is up to date on her vaccinations. Lizzie had a special surgery known as a cherry eye repair here at the North Shelter. She`s currently healing well however Lizzie`s new owner should ensure complete resolution with their own veterinarian upon adoption. Lizzie has experience hanging out with another dog here, Mazie, who recently got adopted. They were two peas in a pod! Mazie was definitely Lizzie`s favourite companion while at the shelter, as she`s been known to voice her displeasure at some of the other dogs here. If you currently have a dog at home, we can discuss this and arrange a meet and greet to see how the dogs interact in a safe and controlled environment :) If you are ready for all the joy and work that comes with adopting Lizzie, please give us a call at the North Shelter at 416-338-PAWS(7297) between the hours of 10:30AM-6:30PM and we can talk to you about her and outline the adoption process further.Thank you for considering one of our dogs available for adoption!

Story
Buddy! Thats his name AND his personality. This friendly pooch is ready to be your best bud and you are just in luck because he needs a new family to call his own. He is always willing to meet new human friends and give them a nice little how-do-you-do sniff. He can be a little shy/nervous at first and prefers to walk circles around you to check-you-out. He comes around very fast and soon he will be your bestest pal asking for pets, playtime and snackies. What does Buddy REALLY love though? DOGS! If you want to see Buddy come to life with the zoomies, bring him another canine friend. He gets along well with other dogs and his favorite thing to do is to get the other dog to try and chase him! He is a bit of a chonky boy so hes not the fastest (and would definitely lose at a game of tag) but it is so fun to watch him go go go!Speaking of being a chonky boy, his new owner will have to keep him on track with a good diet and not too many treatos as he needs to lose a few pounds. He tries to be a bit picky (only eating wet food or treats) to try and convince you to always give him the good junky foods. Otherwise, Buddy is a healthy boy that is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.Buddy previously had ongoing eye issues in the past but it has been repaired and has no further issues at this time.If you are interested in adopting Buddy, please call the West Region Shelter at 416-338-6271 to get the process started.

Story
Meet Molly, the adorable pug with an unforgettable smile! This quirky and playful girl is available for adoption and ready to find her forever home. With her charming teeth and love for life, Molly will quickly steal your heart.Molly thrives on her daily walks, eagerly begs for treats, and can`t get enough of her squeaky toys. She’s truly one of a kind, with a personality that`s both endearing and entertaining. The ideal home for Molly is a quiet one without other pets, although she has spent time with another dog here in the shelter it was a very calm small dog. She can be a bit shy at first, taking her time to warm up to new people. Molly enjoys attention on her terms and needs someone who understands her boundaries, especially since she’s head shy. She’ ll only allow you to put on her collar and harness once she`s comfortable with you.A household that is experienced with small dogs and without children is also a must. Molly is patiently waiting for a loving person to give her a chance to shine. If you think you can provide the calm and understanding home Molly needs, please call the East Region shelter at 416-338-PAWS(7297). We are open daily from 10:30AM to 6:30PM!
