Story
I'm Penny the Puggle, a lovable mix of pug and beagle. With my adventurous personality, I'm a gentle soul with zero aggressive tendencies, making me an ideal addition to any family. Although I had a minor run-in with a robotic vacuum, it was an isolated incident. It did threaten to suck up all of my toys. I'm well-versed in house training, kennel etiquette, and love showering affection on my human friends as well as my dog and cat friends. My ultimate goal is to become a dedicated lap warmer, and I'm also eager to accompany my owner on jogging adventures. I’d even love a dog best friend! I love to play! Weighing 37 pounds, I'm a suitable size for your bed! I wiggle onto Foster Mom’s, but it doesnt last long.

Story
This pretty girl is Millie! Millie is an approximately 4-year old female Pug mix who weighs around 15 lbs. She was rescued from a neglectful situation. Millie is affectionate, playful, cuddly, loyal, loves kisses! While she may be shy around new people, her true personality shines when she is around other dogs! Millie would love another social dog in the home to help her come out of her shell. Despite her initial reservations, once you earn Millie’s trust, you’ll find she is the sweetest most loyal companion you could ask for. She LOVES to give kisses and be right next to her person! She is the perfect mix of playful & calm! Millie is more accepting of women but still very scared of men due to her past experiences. Millie would do best in a home with humans that understand it sometimes takes time to gain the trust of an animal. She would do best with older children due to her shy nature. She needs a secure fenced yard. Home check required. Millie knows all basic commands! (Bonus she knows how to spin as well!) House-trained to a doggy door, crate trained (she does cry when she first gets in but will settle). Millie does well walking on a leash but can get nervous of loud noises. Millie is spayed, current on vaccines and heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. To adopt Millie, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application.

Story
Bandit came to us from a household of dogs. His human unfortunately fell on difficult times and had to relinquish her animals. Bandit is very shy with strangers but warms up quickly and is sweet. He is learning to play with the smaller dog in his foster home. Slow introduction to new dogs is important. He is available for foster-to-adopt so we can find him the perfect fit!

Story
Dougie is about 2 1/2 years old, he’s a Boxer/Pug mix! Boy is he a cutie!!! He was an owner surrender due to “not able to care for him”… he was living in his crate, to eat, sleep, and potty! Dougie is a happy playful boy now! He loves toys and will carry one wherever he goes! His favorite toy is a ball and he entertains himself well! Dougie does need to be the only dog, he is a dominant boy and does not like to share toys, food, or his people. But that’s ok! Dougie will not let you down with the giggles he will create!  ##1791790##
