Story
Meet Tillie!Tillie is a 2-year-old one-eyed Pug mix with a big personality, endless energy, and a heart full of happiness. This adorable girl proves every single day that having one eye doesn’t slow her down one bit—if anything, it just adds to her charm!Tillie is an absolute toy fanatic. Squeaky toys? Yes please. A good chew bone? Even better. A game of fetch? She’s all in. Playtime is Tillie’s favorite pastime, and she’s always ready to bounce from one toy to the next. Her typical routine looks something like this: play hard, run over for some snuggles with her people, then immediately hop back up for round two of playtime. This little girl is truly bursting with joy and would thrive in a home that enjoys a playful, energetic companion. While Tillie does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, she does have a tendency to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best for her.Tillie also loves meeting new people and has shown herself to be very friendly with strangers. She’s already potty trained and will do adorable little circles by the door when she needs to go outside. She is also crate trained from her previous home and reportedly does very well settling into her crate.Because Tillie already brings a lot of energy to the table, we believe she would do best in a home with older children or adults only. She loves being the center of the fun and may feel overwhelmed by younger kids who bring the same high level of excitement. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate, toy-loving companion who will keep you laughing and fill your home with joy, Tillie might just be your perfect match.__________________________________________________________________________________________________If you would like to meet Tillie, please submit an application for her on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. She will be spayed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $275, which helps cover the cost of the medical care she will received.**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth. Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our

Please read this carefully before applying. Bob is all love. Bob is adorable. Bob is a handful. Bob's Daily Routine Cheat Sheet (A realistic snapshot of what helps Bob succeed) Morning Wake up = immediate trip outside. No coffee first. Bob will not wait. Breakfast. Straight back outside. This is not optional. Bob is fully prepared. Mid-Morning Short walk or play session. He's got bunny energy and needs an outlet. Supervised free time. If it's on the floor and smells interesting, Bob will investigate with his mouth. Midday Potty break. Even if he &#194&#147just went earlier.&#194&#148 Trust us. Nap time. Bob naps hard. After Any Nap Outside. Immediately. This is a pattern, not a suggestion. Afternoon Another short walk or play burst. Mental stimulation helps. Sniffing, training, puzzle toys that are not edible. Dinner Dinner. Immediately outside again. Bob is nothing if not consistent. Evening Chill time with his people. Couch, cuddles, general supervision. Gates up. Trash secured. Snack drawers closed. Before Bed One last potty trip. Do not skip this. Bedtime with his humans. Bob takes this part very seriously. Important Notes Bob thrives on routine, supervision, and follow-through. Accidents will happen while training continues. A good stash of paper towels and disinfectant is required. Homes without carpet are strongly preferred. A non-rental home is ideal due to training and management needs. A fenced-in yard would be a big plus. Bob loves to do zoomies, especially with other dogs. Bob should not have access to garbage, litter boxes, toys, or unattended food. Consistency + structure + humor = success. Baby gates are not a suggestion. They are a lifestyle. Homes with kids' toys scattered around, piles of things, and similar clutter may be too much for him. He's not potty trained, but being crated for hours and hours is not going to be good for him. He adores humans and being part of the mix. Email us at info@sheltertohome.com if you're interested in meeting or learning more about Bob. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**March 18, 2026, 11:11 pm
