Snoopy is a 5-year-old pug mix who recently found himself at God’s Dogs Rescue after his owner passed away. Though reserved at first, he is settling into his foster home and loving every bit of the comfort and love it provides. Snoopy is a mellow, affectionate pup who adores being petted and snuggling up with his favorite people. His sturdy little frame may be on the chonky side, but he can still zip around when the mood strikes! Snoopy is crate trained, housebroken, and does well on a leash. He is quiet, calm, and good with cats, making him an easygoing companion. Though he has been with his sister Sweetpea all his life, he is ready to find a loving home of his own where he can be cherished. We cannot get enough of this sweet little face! Meet BRANCH, an adorable little mixed breed girl looking for a home. She's a petite 1-2 year old 19 pound jet black girl. Our best guess on breed mix is pug/Italian greyhound, probably with a few other breeds mixed in. She has a puggy face and the lean long legged body of a sighthound. Her long legs make her look like a big dog, but she's so much smaller than she appears in photos. Branch is such a fun bouncy girl. She loves toys and treats. Branch loves to run and play in the the yard with her foster siblings and always sleeps cuddled up with another dog, so she needs a home with another playful dog and a physically fenced yard. She's very curious about cats, not aggressive, but can be a pest. She should be fine with a dog-savvy cat who doesn't put up with canine nonsense. Branch loves making friends with everyone she meets. CUTENESS OVERLOAD! Say hello to EFFIE and ELENA, two adorable little chugs (pug/chihuahua mixes) looking for homes. Elena is around 2 years old and 8 pounds and Effie is 1 year old and 9 pounds. They could be mother/daughter, sisters from another mister or cousins, who knows? They are darling little girls who love to cuddle and love to play. They can be adopted as a pair or separately. If adopted separately they must each go to a home with another friendly small dog. They are both dog friendly and would be fine with cats. They love everyone they meet. Effie and Elena must go to homes in the greater CIncinnati/TriState area in order to complete their vetting with our vet. Look at how the tulips tower over little EFFIE!! Our little chug (chihuahua/pug) girl is the sweetest thing, right around 1 year old and fully grown at just 9 pounds. Effie is a playful, curious girl who LOVES to go for walkies. She would love a home with another small friendly dog. She's fostered with kitties and is fine with a bit of management. If she has a playmate, she will likely ignore cats. Effie is housebroken and crate trained and good with older kids. We prefer not to send Effie to a home where there are big dogs or small children because she's such a tiny little thing. Effie needs to go to a home in the greater Cincinnati area in order to complete the vetting provided by the rescue. If you are interested in adopting a small young dog like Effie, please be prepared to make a 12-14 year commitment (or more).
