Story
Diamond is a 6 years old male pug mix. We think he may be part of a beagle. He weighs 21 lbs. Diamond is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He is mostly house trained. Diamond is a quiet boy. He is very shy. He is friendly to most of the dogs. He is not friendly to male dogs which are not nice to him. His reaction to these dogs are nonstop barking. Diamond is also friendly to kids. We are not sure about cats. Diamond's adoption fee is $250. Please submit the adoption application at https://charlieswishanimalrescue.org. We need to have the application to schedule a meet and greet.

Story
RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Story
Bella is a 4-5 year old black and white mixed breed that weighs 28 lbs. We don't know her mix without a DNA test, but she looks like some pug and perhaps terrier. She is prematurely greying so she looks older, but we knew Bella when she was a pup with her brother Buckley (36 lbs). They don't look like siblings, but they were found together as puppies and were adopted together. They have always been together since puppyhood and we want to keep it that way. They keep each other company but still enjoy playtime and loving with their humans.Bella and Buckley went to an adoption event at a local petstore and did great! This was the first outing since coming to the kennel and they were happy to be in a quieter environment. We made sure to tell visitors to approach quietly and the dogs were fine with new people. We took them for a walk together around the store and they were ok on the leash and liked the exercise. We were so proud of them!Bella usually lets her brother Buckley run the show, but she'll jump in when she feels comfortable. She likes to lounge on furniture or burrow under blankets. She'll usually let Buckley sniff out strangers before she warms up. Once she does ,she is a sweetheart who likes to cuddle and kiss. A nice fenced in backyard is all she needs for her exercise and potty needs. No walks needed! She would prefer a home with adults or respectful older children. Cats are ok but Buckley is enough dog for her. Buckley and Bella are used to being in a home and are housetrained. Their perfect home would be a quiet one with a fenced in yard where they can relax and nice comfy couches to cuddle. If you have room in your heart and home for both Bella and Buckley, apply at www.caninecollective.org
