Gouda is part of the Cheese Litter of seven (Munster, Mozzarella, Gouda, Parmesan, Cheddar, Swiss and Colby Jack). These sweet babies came from an overcrowded shelter in Chesterfield, South Carolina. The shelter is no place for a tiny puppy, fortunately they have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and are ready to find forever homes. Could that be with you? Gouda is your typical sweet and friendly puppy. He is great with people and other dogs. At his young age, Gouda is in his prime for training and socialization. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
