Story
This is Milo , he was born 4/9/2024. He is about 20 lbs. Has rabies shots only. He loves to play fetch and chew on toys. He has a lot of energy and will need someone who has time to play and take him on walks. He lives with 2 dogs now and gets along good but does fight with them time to time. He will need to sleep next to you in bed at night. He is not neutered but only has one testicle. He is very lovable and needs a forever home.

Story
Ryder is a 5-month old pug mix. He is up to date and shots and weighs around 15 lbs. He is fostered in Laurel, MD. Ryder is a sweet guy and loves to play with other dogs. He is an affectionate puppy and loves to climb on your lap for a snuggle or belly rub. This is his favorite spot to relax. Ryder is working on potty training and is doing great. He is a smart puppy, who is very eager to please and learns quickly. Ryder is new to PPR, and we will continue to update as we learn more about him. This lovebug is ready to find his forever home! Please note: You must have a dedicated private space for potty and outdoor exploration. Puppies often need additional immunizations before they are allowed to walk in public spaces. Pup cannot be left alone for more than "4" hours at a time. This is necessary for comfort breaks and much needed socialization for a pup this age. For young puppies that leave unaltered: A refundable $100 spay/neuter deposit for adopters with established spay/neuter history is required. A refundable $200 spay/neuter deposit for adopters without spay/neuter history is required. If interested in adopting please fill out our no obligation online application at www.puppypawsrescue.org Our rescue requires that all adopter's current and prior animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (DHLPP & Rabies) and preventatives (heartworm and flea and tick), unless there is a medical reason not allowing it. All animals in your household should be spayed or neutered unless medically indicated that they should not be or are currently still too young.

Cheddar is part of the Cheese Litter of seven (Munster, Mozzarella, Gouda, Parmesan, Cheddar, Swiss and Colby Jack). These sweet babies came from an overcrowded shelter in Chesterfield, South Carolina. The shelter is no place for a tiny puppy, fortunately they have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and are ready to find forever homes. Could that be with you? Cheddar is your typical sweet and friendly puppy. She is great with people and other dogs. At her young age, Cheddar is in her prime for training and socialization. Cheddar is ready to find her people for life and in return she promises to shower them with all her sweetness and love. With Cheddar, every day is a new adventure filled with joy and companionship. The question isn't why you should adopt Cheddar, but rather, why wouldn't you want to bring such a bundle of cuteness into your life? Submit an application today and change her life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/.
