Story
Meet Wilson! This handsome senior loves being with his favorite humans. Wilson enjoys long walks almost as much as he enjoys spending the day indoors cuddling with his favorite humans. He loves belly rubs and pets from both tall and small humans. Wilson is also one of our Special Care animals, meaning that he will need some extra love and support. As he would do well in a calm home environment. Wilson will need professional evaluation on his teeth, teeth cleaning, and potentially some tooth extractions. His ideal home would be able to afford any medical needs he may require. Wilson also has a small mass on his back right paw, which needs be monitored for changes. We are continuing to learn even more about Wilson's wild personality, and you can too! If you are intrigued by this handsome boy come on by The Anti-Cruelty, and meet with him today!

Story
Meet Chicky! She is ~12 + Year old pug who is a just the best girl! She gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids- but she does not share food and should be fed separately to avoid any conflicts. Chicky does have IVDD (Intervertebral disc disease) which does have an affect on her mobility. Her rear end has weakened and she has some muscle atrophy. Care must be taken to avoid back injury which could render her rear paralyzed. She cannot/should not do stairs and should be carried up and down, supervised when on furniture, etc. Chicky also should be on daily over the counter eye drops and lubricant for life. Chicky's adoption donation of $395 helps cover the cost of her veterinary care. In addition to the regular vetting she has also had a full dental and a consultation at an eye specialist. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at info@perfectpooches.org. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.

Story
Welcome Dozer! He came to us as a breeder surrender. He is said to be approximately 5 years old and weighs approx 20 lbs. He is a sweet boy who got his name because he is like a bulldozer - happy and friendly, but no problems with running into anything in his path. He is good with other dogs, but would recommend dogs that would be ok with his bull-in-a-china-shop personality. He does have an issue with his left eye, which we are getting evaluated by our vet. Dozer's adoption donation of $450 helps cover the cost of his medical care. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at info@perfectpooches.org. Story
Brindle is the embodiment of "puppy in that she is extremely playful, incredibly loving, and just wants to be loved. When around other dogs or children, she wants to live life to its fullest. When not around them, and alone with an adult will either play with her toys and keep herself occupied or seek love and attention and potentially a place to nap with her adult. Brindle was found outside the doors of Eisenhower Middle School. We believe she was looking to expand her education. Brindle also goes by the nickname Brendy or Brindy. Brindle has displayed some resource guarding behaviors around her food bowl that her foster parents are working on with her. She is progressing well! Her favorite toy is anything that squeaks that can also be chewed on and her favorite song is Raining Blood by Slaying, she is a rockin' pup! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
