Story
Meet Ben! This 7-year-old Pug mix is on a mission to bring maximum spunk and fun into your life. With a personality as big as his attitude, Ben is guaranteed to keep you laughing. He`s a toy fanatic, so get ready to spoil him with all the squeaky, bouncy things you can find! Ben is vocal, and if he`s not getting his way, prepare for some sassy commentary. He’s pretty sure he’s the king of the castle, and honestly, he might be right. Belly rubs are non-negotiable—don’t even think about skipping them. Ben has done well with other dogs but isn`t the biggest player in the world. He could potentially go home with another dog provided it`s a good fit. Ben’s all about respecting his space, so a home with kids 12+ would be ideal for this little royal. If you`re looking for a quirky, goofy companion to keep you on your toes, Ben might just be the perfect fit!

Story
Meet Beau – Your Energetic, Playful, and Happy-Go-Lucky Chi-Pug! Beau is a Chihuahua-Pug mix with lots of energy and a heart full of love! He’s playful, happy, and loves being around people. His cheerful and easygoing nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a fun, energetic pup to brighten their days. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Beau important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Beau is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $600..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Beau wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! I F INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate for Beau, please fill out an application for his adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: RescueTailsAnimalWelfare@gmail.com. If you aren’t looking to adopt but still would like to help Beau, please consider a donation for his food, housing, and veterinary care.
