🐾Chewy🐾   🐾Little man Chewy is a 10 year old pug/chihuahua mix that needs a special home. He gets along with other dogs and cats, but is not usually interested in playing with them. He prefers people, especially someone that will become his person. Young children are not recommended. He must be handled respectfully, and on his terms. He will come to you when he wants petted, to get belly rubs, and sit on your lap. 🐾Chewy is on anxiety medication, and will need to continue it to help him stay his happy self. He needs a home that will allow him to live out his life in comfort.    🐾Chewy knows how to use a doggie door. He will crate for treats. He prefers to sleep next to his human. He walks on leash and loves car rides. When on leash, a halter is recommended, pulling on a collar makes him cough. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on yearly heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. Chop Stix Charlene came to us from a breeder where she was relinquished by no fault of her own. She simply got too old for the pet store. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 04/12/24 and she currently weighs 9#. Photos were taken after spay surgery & she is still sleepy. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $800 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need.
