She was found outside with her two brothers, and animal control picked them up and brought them safely to the shelter.She is friendly and playful like any young pup, but she’s the quiet, snuggly one of the trio. Big Mama came to us during a large hoarding case, where we took in 20+ animals. We called her Big Mama, as it was thought she was pregnant, and fed her as such. Turns out, she was NOT pregnant, and had to lose some weight. Over time she has been on a low calorie (supplemented with green beans) diet, exercise, and has lost a lot of weight! She is a stout, friendly, happy girl. She loves everyone, toys, walks, and being next to you. She also loves her crate! Is housetrained when she is able to go out often. Owners would have to stick to her diet and exercise to make her most comfortable.

She’s a compact, muscular lady who may look tough on the outside, but she’s truly a soft, snuggly, gentle sweetheart on the inside. Though she’s shorter in stature, she’s a solid little chunk full of charm. Despite her strong build, Rhonda is actually a chill, laid-back, and often lazy girl. She enjoys a little bit of play and the occasional burst of zoomies, but she is primarily a snuggle bug who loves nothing more than curling up next to her people. A cozy couch and a warm blanket? That’s her dream life. She was found as a stray, so some of her past is unknown, but she appears to have had previous litters. What she’s looking for now is simple: comfort, stability, and a family who will adore her as much as she adores them. Rhonda loves attention, is learning how fun toys can be, and is always ready to settle in for cuddles. While she hasn’t officially met other dogs in our care yet, she’s shown interest and may enjoy dog friends with the right introductions. She will be spayed and fully vaccinated before going to her forever home.
