ADOPT ZELDA! Updated breed info! We need to address the obvious. I am a Pug mix, but I’m tall and thin. As the DNA report shows, I’m a Pug/Malinois mix. So I’m easy to train. I don’t have the breathing issues, but I have the cutesy under bite and unique eyes. So here’s more about me. I love toys, dogs and kids. If a kid is playing with a ball I want to join. I am doing great with basic training. Boy do I like my food, which is great for my continued training. I’m houstrained. Overnight & when my foster mom is not home I stay in my crate. Zelda is up to date on vaccinations for her age, neutered, microchipped & current on heartworm & flea preventatives. Zelda’s adoption fee is $450. Rudy is a 1.5 year old, 45lb terrier/pug mix looking for his new home! He loves to walk around investigating the grounds and rolling around in the grass. He has great form with summersaults too. Rudy is a nervous dog who will need a less busy home with plenty of patience. We think it would be best for him to have a home with 1-2 people. We would love to find someone with experience with nervous dogs. He needs consistency and routines so he can comfortably expect what is coming. Once Rudy starts to feel safe, he will ready to give all his love! He is always rolling over for belly rubs from staff or giving a hug. This sweet guy just needs a safe place to land.

Story
We have had both Clarke and Lois (brother and sister) for about 5 years. Clarke loves people and to be scratched. Of the two, he is the one who most likely follows me around the house. He prefers being inside... we let them in our back yard but he often wants to immediately come back inside. He can be a little territorial in certain situations, but once he warms to someone, he is a pushover. Lois and Clarke never really got along with each other; they occasionally fight because they are not good at sharing, though that has gotten better over the years. When we take them to be boarded, we always get positive reviews and generally it seems like he gets along OK with other dogs once he is used to them. He is good with our kids. Overall though, they would probably be happier in separate homes, though other pets might be OK after some adjustment. In general, we are looking for a new home because our new young one is allergic to dogs.
