Story
Chiquita is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. The different vets Chiquita has visited have estimated her to be about six to eight years old. She loves to cuddle and be the center of human attention. She has experience living with other dogs, but prefers to have her treats and foods in a separate location. This sweet little girl is very lovable, but sadly has been neglected. Prior to heading to Wisconsin, she had one eye removed and had a couple of mass cell tumors removed. Her new family will need to stay on top of any bumps that she gets so they can be removed. She's very sweet and loves the company of other dogs and things going on around her. She will cuddle with other dogs, but when they lick her face, she may get annoyed. Chiquita prefers human attention and human cuddles. She loves to sleep in the bed with her people. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
