Story
Meet Bruce! He’s a sweet, silly, and affectionate 6-year-old pug with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Bruce is a cuddle bug who loves being close to his people and will keep you laughing every day with his goofy antics. He does best as the only dog in the home—while he has some dog friends, he can be reactive on walks and prefers to be the center of attention. He hasn’t spent much time around kids or cats, so a calm, adult household is ideal. We’re heartbroken to be moving internationally and can’t bring him with us. Bruce has skin allergies that require daily Apoquel (~$100/month), and like most pugs, he sheds. He’s crate trained, housebroken, and a loyal little shadow who just wants a cozy lap and someone to love him as much as we do. If you think you’re the right person for Bruce, we’d love to hear from you!

Story
Meet Sara – Your Sweet, Loving, and Cuddle-Loving Chi-Pug! Sara is a Chihuahua-Pug mix with a sweet and affectionate personality. She loves people and adores cuddling up with her humans. Her gentle energy and loving nature make her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal and snuggly friend. Like all puppies, she will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Sara valuable learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Sara is fully vetted. She has been spayed, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of her adopter. Her adoption donation is $600.00. Sara is on the hunt for her own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so she wants to be sure her family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate for Sara, please fill out an application for her adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: RescueTailsAnimalWelfare@gmail.com. If you aren’t looking to adopt but still would like to help Sara, please consider a donation for her food, housing, and veterinary care. Story
Snoopy is a 5-year-old pug mix who recently found himself at God’s Dogs Rescue after his owner passed away. Though reserved at first, he is settling into his foster home and loving every bit of the comfort and love it provides. Snoopy is a mellow, affectionate pup who adores being petted and snuggling up with his favorite people. His sturdy little frame may be on the chonky side, but he can still zip around when the mood strikes! Snoopy is crate trained, housebroken, and does well on a leash. He is quiet, calm, and good with cats, making him an easygoing companion. Though he has been with his sister Sweetpea all his life, he is ready to find a loving home of his own where he can be cherished. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
We are looking for adopters with a private yard for our smoosh-faced English bulldog mix. The first thing adopters should know is that your life will be better because of Tyson and his bulldog charm—his folds, his goofy kisses, and his big love for his people. He’s a total snugglebug who wants to be wherever you are, preferably draped across you like a weighted blanket, and his treat-catching skills are next-level, though his finding skills leave something to be desired. He’s happiest soaking up family time including playing with his brother dog. Second, Tyson's new family has to accept that he will never be the dog that can be around strangers regularly. His family can mess around with him like any other dog, and we developed an introduction protocol so that he can safely be around people he will interact with regularly (walkers, family, friends). But he needs a yard–Apartment living with us means hallways and shared sidewalks so we are looking for a home where he can be safe.
