Story
Located in: Boise, ID Breed: Pug Mix Age: 6 Adoption fee: $35.00 + $17.99 microchip registration fee This handsome gentleman goes by many names. Stumpy, AKA Sir Stumpington, Mister Sir, The Stumpmiester, Stump, Bubba Dub, Lord of the Underbite and many other absurd nicknames. This charming lad doesn’t care what he’s called, only that you’re talking to him. Stumpy is a sweet boy with a delightful underbite and so much spunk. He is about 6 years old, with a nice blend of chaotic playful energy and a love of lounging and naps. He is the king of zoomies, loves to carry his food bowl around, and is notorious for stealing blankets off of chairs to add to his dragon hoard (his bed nest). Despite all of his charisma, Stumpy is in need of a very special adopter who is patient, caring and willing to keep working through his quirks. Unfortunately, Stumpy has some major beef with his butt. It may be neurological, behavioral, or trauma related, but Stumpy seems to not realize that his tail and butt are indeed part of his body. This leads him to squabble with his own booty on a fairly regular basis. He has been treated medically and there is no physical medical concern to his body that is leading to this behavior. He takes daily medication to help with stress related to this issue. As funny as it may seem, it has left some serious consequences for him. He traumatically injured his own tail leading to an emergency amputation. Things that are normally relaxing and fun for dogs like: eating, kongs, and any food related enrichment, are quite stressful for him. He will resource guard any food related fun from his own back end. He does best when eating with a soft cone on that blocks the view of his behind. He does better if you watch him eat as you can verbally tell him to snap out of it and he also feels safer with you watching his back. Stump was found as a stray and very little is known about his past. He was unaltered and was not potty trained upon arrival to Fuzzy Pawz and it is suspected based on his thick coat, state of his feet and marking behavior that he was an outdoor dog. He has made great strides in potty training and as long as you let him out at regular intervals, he tends to stay accident free. He may need some continued assistance with potty training when transitioning to a new environment. Sir Stumpington is currently in foster with both cats and dogs and has done well with both. He does need a structured introduction to new dogs but quickly warms up. He has done great with living with multiple dogs but is not a dog recommended to visit dog parts or off leash dog areas as he quickly can become overwhelmed. He has done well with backyard chickens and ducks. He would do best in an adult-only home. Despite all his quirks, this little guy makes up for it with his hilarious personality. He is incredibly smart, easy to train, and eager to learn more tricks and commands.

Story
Daisy is just a puff of love, wants kisses, belly rubs, and to be cuddled a lot. She is food and treat obsessed. She will do literally anything for a treat but is reluctant to do things by herself without incentive. She is a tad braver than her sister Mini and will kind of throw herself into anything, but it has to be on her own terms. She loves her bone and Kong/Kong treats/training treats. She has the cutest pink and brown spotted belly and lazy left eye...so she is always giving you side eye even when she doesn't mean to. She is hesitant to be put on a leash but once on a leash, loves to go out for walk and is typically the first one out the door. She is slower to learn than Mini but once she puts her mind to it (A.K.A. treat incentive) she comes around pretty quickly. She loves to be wherever you are and will follow you anywhere you go. She cocks her head to the side for any high pitched sound and is very curious. The sisters often do things together but are not overly bonded and would possibly even do best separated though preferably to homes with other dogs for them to make friends with. Daisy gets pretty bossy with her sister at times. The girls have discovered how nice it is to have a dog bed and will either stay together or in separate beds. They especially love those beds that are the circular, fluffy kind or the sheepskin kind. They come from a big hoarder case so a soft bed is special to them. Daisy is leash trained, doggie door trained, and almost fully potty trained though she has to be told to go, lead outside, and watched to make sure she goes. She will watch you the entire time to make sure you're watching her and if you turn away for a second, she will run to you asking for a treat like she went potty but she didn't. Both girls are obsessed with the Kong and the spray treat that goes inside; not so keen on treats being put inside the Kong. Daisy is far more treat driven than Mini is (Daisy tries to steal everyone's treats with a shark attack, jumping in front of whomever is getting a treat to steal it away). They know the word "sit", "no", "potty", "outside", their names and we're working on "stay", "walk" and "wait" (doing well, but learning). We are currently training on eating with other dogs to reduce the food aggression that Daisy has and which isn’t uncommon among dogs from hoarding situations. She is being taught how to sit and wait for her meal and wait for others to finish before she licks their bowls. She's doing exceptionally well right now. Nighttime is a challenge as they were reluctant to go into their crates even with treat enticement; the Kongs at night have eased that a bit and they are now sleeping pretty quickly after their Kong treat is done. They were originally whining and crying for anywhere up to 3 hours before they would sleep but we're down to about 10 minutes now. Daisy and Mini look like pug mixes. They are estimated to be about 1 year old. They have been spayed. Daisy weighs 12lbs. Story
Mini loves to be hugged and cuddled but only likes to give kisses on her terms. She is obsessed with balls, bones, the Kong and anything squeaky. She especially loves playing tug-o-war with toys with her sister Daisy. Loves to sit on a perch of any kind (back of couch or chair) to look outside and survey the land. She enjoys eating at a slower pace and can be rather submissive when eating to let other dogs eat out of her bowl. She loves cheese and will do anything for it. She also is extremely smart and learns very quickly - she was the first of the two sisters to allow us to put on the leash to walk, walks without pulling, learned sit and the doggie door within a few hours, figured out that doggie beds are awesome first, and is pretty self-sufficient when selecting and playing with toys. She has the most adorable underbite and will "grin" often, especially if she wants more of something. She cocks her head to the side for any high-pitched sound and is very curious. The sisters often do things together but are not overly bonded and would possibly even do best separated though preferably to homes with other dogs for them to make friends with. Daisy gets pretty bossy with Mini at times. The girls have discovered how nice it is to have a dog bed and will either stay together or in separate beds. They especially love those beds that are the circular, fluffy kind or the sheepskin kind. They come from a big hoarder case so a soft bed is special to them. Mini is leash trained, doggie door trained, and potty trained. She will purposely pee several times in the yard just to get more treat rewards. Both girls are obsessed with the Kong and the spray treat that goes inside; not so keen on treats being put inside the Kong. They know the word "sit", "no", "potty", "outside", their names and we're working on "stay", "walk" and "wait" (doing well, but learning). She has started the unfortunate habit of eating her sister's poop but I am trying to curb that.
