Story
Rocky is a great pet and I will miss him very much. I need to let him go because my father is coming to live with me and he has healt problems that require me not to have a pet. Lots of personality Loves cheese, ham, and going to the park. When he gets excited he spins in circles He snores like my grandpa He requires a lot of attention in that he needs to be around people or gets lonely

Story
Bruno is the cutest little potato around! Bruno is estimated to be around 5 years old and he is a sweet and sensitive guy looking for his fur-ever home. Bruno is a mellow guy who enjoys the simple things in life like leisurely walks around the neighborhood and sunbathing in the backyard. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he never wants to leave your side. Bruno is a little chunky and would benefit from daily exercise and a diet to help him get to a more healthy weight. He currently weighs around 23lbs. Bruno came to us from a local shelter after he was surrendered with his buddy Alex by their previous owner. We were told it was due to issues with the landlord. At first, we thought the boys were a bonded pair, but as we have gotten to get to know them more, they seem like they would be okay being separated. It would still be great if someone wanted to adopt both pups, but it isn't required. Bruno is the more shy of the two boys, but he seems to be more adaptable and has settled into learning how to do normal dog things. In their previous home, the boys were kept mostly indoors and were trained to potty on pee pads, but Bruno has learned that walks can be great and has come to enjoy lounging outside. He has become a great work-from-home buddy and is happy to nap in the home office while his foster mom works. He would be a great companion for someone who is home often, such as someone who is retired or works from home.  Bruno has done well living with other dogs and seems to do best with other mellow dogs. Bruno has done well living with cats and is great about ignoring them and giving them space. Bruno previously lived with kids and could be a great addition to a family with kids older than 10 years old. Bruno has picked up going outside to potty and has been doing well being crated when home alone. He also has done well being left free roaming for short periods. Bruno would do best with a family who can slowly acclimate him to a new environment and schedule. He is a well-mannered guy but doesn't seem to have had any formal training. He  likely would do best in a home with a yard, maybe with a dog door, to make the transition to a new routine easier.  Bruno is such a special boy and he deserves his happy ever after. If you think that might be with you, submit an adoption application today!   Bruno's adoption fee is $250.   Apply to adopt here!   https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/  Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. December 23, 2024, 7:34 pm

Story
Please read everything. This is a courtesy post. Pugsley and Phoebe are being fostered in Sonora California. Adoption fee is $300 together not each. They are both fixed up-to-date on shots and micro chipped serious inquiries only.! Contact Debbie at 209-607-7465. Ps pug experience a plus. ALL WE WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A FOREVER HOME. 🏠 Meet Pugsly Malone and Phoebe Buffay These two are a BONDED pair and will only be adopted together to a pug savvy home. They were neglected and dumped by their previous owner after using phoebe to make babies for them to sell and never came for them so I will be very particular where they go so this never happens to them again. They have the best personalities. So cute, silly and affectionate. I mean in your face affectionate. If you know the pug breed you know how special these smooshy face dogs are! They are so sweet to all they meet. Humans and furry ones. They need a family that will take them for walks and shower then with attention. They love to play with each other and they keep each other pretty busy but they also have their chill time. Pugsly is guessed to be between 4-5 and phoebe guessed to be around 2-3 but I can’t be sure seeing I don’t know their true birthdates. Before inquiring please note that both are still working on their potty training. Phoebe pretty much has it conquered and Pugsley is also doing so much better but they need consistency taking them out. Having a dog door for them to learn would be a plus. I am assuming they were kept outside seeing they were infested with fleas to the point of scabs from the bites so they were never taught but they are both getting better each day. If this is a deal breaker for you then please don’t bother. They need time, patience and love to learn. These two will only be adopted to a home where they will be part of the family. Where they will be allowed to be where the family is whether on the couch or on the bed whatever. They have really been eating up all the love and attention here. They both sleep all night without any issues. For more info or for an application please contact me at deb0625@yahoo.com 209-607-7464 BEING FOSTERED IN SONORA - [x] Both have now been fixed - [x] Both up to date on vaccines - [x] Both dewormed - [x] Both microchipped - [x] Both very dog friendly x] Both love adults and kids - [x] Must have secured yard - [x] Sorry no renters - [x] Home check - [x] Established Veterinarian - [x] Adoption fee applies
