Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Pug / Pit Bull X DOB: 3/2021 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): brown brindle Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application.Hi, I'm Pretty, a happy Pug / Pit Bull X, who is in need of a new home as my adopter no longer has time for me.I was originally in CARL's adoption program when my owner moved and left me behind. I'm hoping my next home is really my forever home where I'll be a cherished member of a loving family.I'm an outgoing friendly girl who would love nothing more than to be your best friend. I'm good with male dogs and older children. I have a rough play style that other female dogs don't always care for, so it's not recommended I go to a home with female dogs. It's unknown how I would do with young children. Unless your cat would enjoy a game of chase with a dog, a home with no cats is probably better for me.If you're looking for an active lovable girl, please fill out an online application to meet me.December 26, 2024, 9:31 pm

Story
This handsome boy is Ollie! He is a 5 year old, 21lb, purebred Pug. Ollie's story is sad. His owner dumped him at the shelter with his brother where they were left in complete neglect. They went to our specialist where we found out that they both had terrible ear infections and skin so bad from months of flea infestation and environmental allergies. They have been receiving treatment and are doing so much better. Our vet feels that we should wait a couple more weeks before getting them neutered just because they came in such a bad state. Ollie and his brother were placed together in one foster home where we saw that they were not bonded at all and in fact, did not do well together. We separated them and Ollie's brother just recently got adopted. Ollie is such a smart boy with a yearning to learn. He is relaxed, happy, and so loving! We are looking for a pug savvy home where the owners are around most of the day. A home with a backyard would be ideal as he absolutely loves to sit in the sun and relax. We do see that he needs to be the only dog in the home. He was not raised by a good owner who did not socialize him properly, so it was all about competition for him, but when separated....he is absolute perfection! Ollie had such a rough life with his previous owner from being locked in a crate 14 hours a day, fed very bad food, never socialized, and never given any love, so we want the absolute best forever home for him! Please contact us at: gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020 Ollie is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered when ready. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.

Story
Kobe was living in a garage when I got him. He's a very loving little man who wants to be loved and spoiled. (Don't all pugs) He loves love and enjoys playing with dogs his own size or smaller. It's a hit-or-miss with larger dogs. Kobe watches TV with his humans. You can see his head going side to side with the characters on the screen. He isn't fond of John Walsh or the lady "who walks 6 blocks" (I have no idea why) and isn't fond of lawyer commercials. HAHA Kobe LOVES his walks and does great on a leash. If he had a yard to cruise around in he would be in 7th heaven. If you are home most of the time, he would be fine being the only dog. If you are out of the home for a great deal of time, he would be better off having another dog. He's used to other dogs being around. If you think you could be Kobe's forever family, please let me know why. Tell me about your lifestyle, your experience with Pugs, and why you are looking to give one a home. Look forward to hearing from you

Story
Meet Lily: The Queen of Zoomies & Snuggles! Looking for a pup who will shower you with love, keep you laughing, and turn every day into an adventure? Lily is pure love, sunshine and unfiltered joy. Lily has never met a stranger—just future best friends she hasn’t licked yet. And she loves with the enthusiasm of someone who just found out belly rubs are free. She’s never met a person she didn’t adore, a dog she didn’t want to be best friends with, or a snack she didn’t think was rightfully hers. Personal space? That’s a concept Lily simply does not recognize. Whether she’s zooming through the yard like a tiny tornado or flopping dramatically into your lap for belly rubs, Lily is all about living life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a snuggle- loving, zoomie-powered, joy-spreading best friend who will make every day more entertaining, Lily is your girl. Come meet her-you won’t regret it (though your personal space might.)

Story
Rescued Louis from a shelter, he shows signs of abuse and has trust issues. He needs a very patient and loving home. He also needs some serious training he has some behavior issues that make him unpredictable. When he does feel safe he is a happy dog and sweet. He likes to play with his toys and likes to bark(talk) at them, he entertains himself. He likes short walks (he has short legs so long walks can be too much), he really, really, loves car rides.
