Story
Woody is an adorable 9-week-old Chihuahua/Pug mix weighing in at just 3 pounds of pure sweetness. This tiny guy was taken in by one of our dedicated foster moms, who has been with us since the very beginning over a decade ago. She stepped up to care for Woody when he was just a pound, and thanks to her loving care, he’s now neutered, thriving, and ready to find his forever family! Woody is as cute as they come, with a playful and affectionate personality. He’s doing great with pad training and absolutely loves everyone he meets. His foster mom has been giving him the best start in life, and now he’s ready to bring joy to a new home. Woody is looking for a loving family who’s excited to continue his training, shower him with affection, and watch him grow into the perfect companion. Don’t miss out on the chance to welcome this precious pup into your life! To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information. Story
Meet 20week-old Cannoli, an adorable 11pound Chihuahua with a big personality in a tiny body! Despite a rough start to life, this sweet pup is now ready to leave the past behind and start fresh with a loving family. Cannoli could grow to be around 17pounds when fully grown, but don't let his small size fool you—he's full of spunk and loves to play, especially with his pal Gallup. As a young puppy, Cannoli still has a lot of learning to do and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and regular exercise. He needs frequent potty breaks (every few hours) and plenty of guidance as he grows. His ideal home would include another dog to help him learn the ropes and become the best adult dog he can be. Help us find this handsome boy his forever family! To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Story
Meet Dot - this beautiful pug lady is estimated 6 to 8 years old. She was picked up as a stray by a shelter in Southern California and transported to us because of the poor condition she was in. Dot was in terrible shape, emaciated with cataracts caused by untreated diabetes. After several months in our rescue she is now in wonderful shape. Her blood work looks great, her diabetes is easily managed with a shot 2x a day with her meals, and she’s otherwise a healthy and happy gal. Dot is funny, playful, loving and smart. Her reduced vision and diabetes does not change who she is as a companion. She’s the pinnacle of pug!! Her insulin costs $20/a month and is simple to keep up on. While many people may feel intimidated by her diabetes, it’s a simple thing to manage in dogs (very different from diabetes in humans). We’re hopeful someone will see how incredible this puggy girl is and want to be her forever home. She’s still so kind and trusting even after all the neglect she has suffered.
