You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Meet Maggie Grace!  She is the happiest ball of energy you will ever meet! She is always the life of the party where ever she goes! Maggie is a 3 year old, 11# Pug mix. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and given her first round of flea medication.  Maggie has had a rough couple of months. She was seized as part of a cruelty case (for unknown reasons), and then red listed due to having an old broken leg. Amazing Strays rescued her and had her leg fixed, in partnership with 15/10 Foundation. She is still recovering from her surgery, but overall it went well and she is doing great. Maggie should not need anymore medical care for her leg, but she will forever walk with some degree of a limp. Her leg does not slow her down at all! Maggie is good with other dogs, unknown with cats, and good with both men and women. Due to Maggie's old injury and subsequent surgery; older, respectful kids would be best. She is also house trained, walks well on a leash, and travels well in the car.  Her adoption fee is $495. If you would like to meet Maggie please click HERE to fill out an application! Story
Meet Churro! This stocky nugget transferred to us from the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility. Churro is an adorable, loving, active little acrobat! While he doesn't climb the chain-link fencing at our rescue, he has climbed our Adoption Event x-pens with ease. He can catapult over our 3.5ft pony wall when he wants to see what we're up to on the other side! On the occasions that Churro doesn't clear the pony wall, he'll grab it with his paws and pull himself over like a little bodybuilder! Churro is an athletic and strong dog in a tiny package! He doesn't have the respiratory issues and considerations that his Pug ancestors have, so pack this tiny boy up and take him on your next hike! With his boundless energy, Churro is ready to see the world! Regarding COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses: Please reschedule any visits if you are sick.

Story
The girl with the winning smile! Hey guys! I am Sussie, Sussie Q. I am a 4 years old, female Pug mix, spayed and about 11 lbs. Heard of the Chandler 55 case? Yes, I am a part of the disabled hoarded dog pack that was rescued from the monster house. With my sweet spirit and smile, you’d never guess what I have gone through. But only when you see my vet report! It’s manageable I pawmise. I have Congenital Angular front limb deformity and Chronic orthopedic condition that affects mobility in hind legs that may have been caused by soft tissue injury that has healed. I have started a monthly injection of Librela (Cost depends on established vet pricing and dosage, ~$100-$200). It is the first and only monthly anti-NGF Monoclonal antibody injection to help control pain for canines with Osteoarthritis. At this time, my foster mom states that the Librela is working. As long as I am being medically managed for mobility issues no surgery is necessary, but will not know know more until later. Surgery will be my adopter's financial responsibility if it is determined it is needed later by our future established vet. Regarding my training, I am leash trained for the 5-10 min walks I take due to leg deformities. The stroller with a soft blankie is my friend! I am pee pad trained. I am not crate trained. Now coming to my personality, the best part! My mama says that I am an absolute perfection! I love playing with dogs and toys, chewing on bones and sometimes your stuff haha but being all cute about it! I am a lap dog and you'd love my snuggles. If I could climb up on your shoulders and into your skin, I would do it! We can be best mates watching tv, all cuddling and being adorable. I am quite fond of dogs, but big ones are scarier and need warming up time. I haven't met cats yet, but I think I will be fine. what, how do I even chase them?! I am very good with kids! I do get separation anxiety where I get anxious and scream, but having another dog completely calms me. I am obviously not a hiking dog, but I do make a good cafe date in my stroller. I am always grateful for my rescue and leaving behind that house of horrors. I do a lil dance when I get a new soft blanket and my zeal is infectious. I am the absolutely cutest little nugget that everyone falls in love with when they meet. I am looking for only the best home that will spoil me rotten because that is what this little princess deserves. If there are no dogs in the home I will need humans around for companionship. Any DINK couple around that likes to bring their dog everywhere with them? I am looking for a home with the best chew bones, softest blankets, and good sunbathing spots. If you think you have that X-factor, let's go get a drink together! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. Story
Where you lead, I'll follow! Hey pals! What a lovely morning in Stars Hollow, and yes thats my giant cuppa coffee. I am Lorelai and I am a 2 years old, spayed female Pug mix. I am a nice 24 lbs in weight. I was rescued from a shelter in Lancaster and I had my litter, fondly known as Gilmore Girls. My offsprings are off to Yale, I mean homes, and it's mama time to shine! I am fully bathroom and leash trained and dont even need a crate. I am a super sweetheart (as soon as I am fully awake with a cuppa from Luke's, jk I am a dog!). I love to cuddle and playing with my foster doggo siblings. I enjoy walks and hikes. I do well by myself alone too. I am just a lover of anything and everything abd everyone! I dont have experience with cats and kids but I think I'll be good! This mama is a sweet, young lady who deserves the world! I can play, chill, cuddle and just be adorable. It will always be like a white Christmas in Stars Hollow with me in your lap. My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
