Meet Vader - the perfect pug! He has a huge heart of gold, and is sweet and fun and funny. He settled quickly into his foster home, and has been a complete delight. He is confident, friendly, house trained, non-destructive, has no separation anxiety, and walks beautifully on a leash. He seems completely dog non-reactive, and even when other leashed dogs are grouchy, he is happy-go-lucky and unfazed in the best way. He would probably love to have a dog sibling to play with as he still has some puppy pep in his step, but could happily live as an only dog too! He is very sweet with kids, but can be a bit mouthy and scratchy when excited - not out of any malice, but out of play. This behavior is quickly redirectable, but he would probably be best with kids 10 and older who understand this behavior and can help him continue to learn to channel it differently. He absolutely loves to snuggle (especially under the covers!). And the snorfley noises and snoozie snores are the cutest. He has been friendly with everyone he meets, and is quick to bond and love his humans. When it comes to training, Vader is affection motivated—a little love and praise go a long way with this sweet boy. He’s also fully housetrained, so he’s ready to trot right into his forever home with ease. With his lovable quirks and warm, outgoing spirit, Vader is sure to bring joy, laughter, and companionship to the lucky family who welcomes him home. Apply today to set up a meet and greet!
