Penelope is a small-breed pup and the perfect match for a family with kids. Story
Fritz and his sister Helga were surrendered to us by a family who kept them outside and did NOTHING for them. Thank goodness they had each other. They said they got "caught" having theses dogs so surrendered them to us. Both of them are so full of life. Super playful and just an absolute hoot. They are on the smaller side. They are in great health and will bring so much joy to any family. They are in separate foster homes and thriving. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Banjo is a one-year-old Pug mix with classic happy go lucky puppy energy and a big, playful personality. He came to us as a stray from Harbor Animal Shelter, where he was kenneled with his buddy Yogi, and he has transitioned beautifully into foster life. Banjo is curious, adventurous, and always ready for the next activity. He loves fetch, exploring outside, and sniffing everything in sight, then happily settles in for cuddle time once he has burned off his zoomies. He is house trained, sleeps through the night, and crates well when home alone. He is friendly with everyone he meets and confidently walks up for pets on outings. Like many young dogs, Banjo can be stubborn and is still learning his manners, but he is smart, food motivated, and already working on basic training in his foster home. Banjo will thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active, silly companion and is willing to continue training while embracing his fun loving personality. If you are looking for a goofy sidekick who can keep up during the day and snuggle in at night, Banjo may be your perfect match. Our sweet Chloe came in not looking so well but once we figured out she was allergic to chicken her life changed. She can not have any chicken products at all. She is a silly goofy girl who would love someone who understands pugs are hyper but full of love. She loves blankets and gets super excited!
