🖤 Uno – The Gentle Snoozer 🖤 Uno may be a senior, but she’s still got plenty of love to give! This sweet girl spends most of her day snoozing and cuddling, making her the perfect companion for a calm and quiet home. Though she’s blind, Uno navigates her space well with just a few minor bumps along the way. She LOVES crinkly toys and perks up at the sound of a treat bag—she’ll even sit before you ask! Uno is on daily anxiety medication due to her current lively household, but in a quieter home, she may not need as much. She prefers to be the only dog since it takes her a long time to warm up to new pups. She’ll let you know when she smells another dog, which can sometimes make introductions tricky. She’s an early riser and early-to-bed kind of gal, does great with the groomer and vet, and is fully kennel trained—often retreating to her crate with the door open for comfort. Uno does need her food portioned out, as free feeding leads to overeating. While her remaining eye has been recommended for removal, it no longer causes issues. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who enjoys the simple things in life, Uno is your girl! 🖤

Story
Meet Axel, the resilient and joyful pug with a spirit that can't be broken! This sweet fawn boy was heartbreakingly left to fend for himself outside the animal control building when there was no space to take him in. Despite his challenging start and hind leg weakness, Axel hasn’t lost his zest for life. His back legs may be a little wobbly, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying a good chase with his dog buddies! To help him navigate his world with confidence, the rescue has provided Axel with custom-fitted wheels, a harness, and booties—all included with his adoption to ensure he continues to thrive in his forever home. He’s a vocal boy who’ll let you know he misses you when he’s first left alone, but he settles down well in his kennel and understands potty time, though he may have a few “oops moments” due to his special needs. With his big heart, playful energy, and incredible resilience, Axel is ready to find a family who’ll give him the love, care, and extra support he needs to live his best life. Are you ready to welcome this amazing pug into your home? Axel is ready to roll—literally—right into your heart! 💛

Meet Melvin – Your One and Only! Melvin needs to be the only dog in his home, and honestly, he deserves to be the center of attention! This sweet senior pug-Griffon mix is ready to soak up all the love and affection from his forever family. Found wandering the streets of Tucson, it was clear that life hadn’t always been kind to Melvin. His scruffy appearance and condition suggested he had been neglected or on his own for quite some time. But his story is one of hope and transformation! 💛 When he arrived at AZ Pug Party & Rescue, Melvin needed some serious TLC, starting with a much-needed bath to wash away the hardships of his past. Now, he’s clean, comfy, and finally experiencing what it means to be truly loved. Melvin adores soft beds, delicious meals, and all the kindness his foster family showers on him. His gratitude shines through in his sweet demeanor and quiet joy. 🥰 He’s also working on his barking, but with patience and consistency, he’s making great progress! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and oh-so-snuggly companion to share cozy evenings and warm cuddles, Melvin might just be your perfect match. 💕 Before adoption, Melvin will undergo a comprehensive vetting process, which includes vaccinations, neutering, and microchipping. Could Melvin be the missing piece in your life? 🐾

Story
Meet Lola – Your Loyal Couch Companion Lola is a sweet and gentle 9-year-old pug who’s ready to find her forever home. She was recently returned to our rescue after her family had to move and couldn’t take her with them. Though it was a tough goodbye, we’re confident that Lola’s perfect match is out there waiting. She can be shy at first, but with a little time and patience, she warms up into a loving, devoted companion. Lola gets along well with other dogs, does great with kids, and is gradually getting used to the resident cat in her foster home. She’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and loves a good nap on the couch. Lola previously had bladder stones, so as a precaution, she’s on a prescription urinary diet to help prevent them from coming back. She’s doing great and feels her best when staying on this special food. If you’re searching for a mellow, affectionate pug to share your couch and your heart, Lola might be the perfect girl for you!

Story
Meet Enzo – Your Playful, Cuddly Companion! 🐾 Breed: Purebred Pug 🎂 Age: 3 years old 🎨 Color: Beige with Black Mask 🧸 Personality: Friendly, Affectionate, and Playful 🏡 Potty & Crate Trained Enzo is a sweet and sociable 3-year-old pug with the perfect mix of snuggly charm and playful energy. Surrendered through no fault of his own, Enzo’s family recently grew by two (human!) little ones, and they simply didn’t have the time to give him the attention he deserves. This little guy loves people—he’s friendly with both adults and children, and he has a gentle, affectionate nature. He enjoys being pet, loves to cuddle, and gets a kick out of playful interaction. Enzo is also dog-friendly, though he can be a bit timid at times around new pups. He hasn’t met cats, but his curious, kind-hearted nature makes us hopeful for a smooth intro. Enzo is potty trained and crate trained, and he’s used to spending time both indoors and outdoors. He does well on a routine and thrives in a loving environment where he can feel like part of the family. While he's a confident and easygoing guy, he can get spooked by loud noises like fireworks or thunderstorms. Enzo would do best in a home where he can get regular walks, lots of affection, and a little patience as he settles into his new surroundings. He’s ready to leave his crate life behind and be your loyal sidekick—from couch snuggles to backyard zoomies. 💛 Ready to give Enzo the time and love he’s been missing?
