See above for the link to the form. Or email directly to CNPSrescue@gmail.com Any inquiries/questions sent without the completed form will NOT receive a response. Thank You for understanding. Rocky Road is a sweet 9 year old 28 lbs tan/black pug. He may be shy at first until he knows his surroundings. Rocky Road goes with the flow. Laid back. He is not really playful but has a sweet personality and enjoys hanging out with you. He loves affection, especially having his head and back scratched. Once in a while he coughs. Thoroughly tested by the veterinarians, and he has been pronounced in good health; the cough does not slow him down a bit or affect his quality of life in any way. Story
Meet Stuart , a 13-lb, 7-year-old chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix)who is ready to find his forever home! Stuart is house trained and rides well in a car.  He loves to walk. He does pull a bit on his leash when he gets excited.   Background: Stuart came into rescue when his family could no longer care for him.  Stuart has lived in a home his entire life and has the house manners of a much loved dog.  Personality : Stuart is an awesome dog.  He is very friendly and has had no issues with any other small dogs  or adults  he has met.  He has never been in a home with young children   but Stuart is a friendly dog so we think he would do well with respectful children.  Stuart does not like big dogs.  Stuart seems to  like cats, but he will  chase them as he loves to run.  Stuart loves to be held and cuddled  and has a rabbit soft fur coat .   He adores attention. Don’t let Stuart's age fool you.  He is active and very athletic.  He not only can jump high but he out runs all of the younger dogs in his foster home.  Health: Stuart is neutered and microchipped and current on his vaccinations. Throughout his life Stuart has had regular medical examinations including  regular dental check ups.  He last had his teeth cleaned in October of 2023.   Ideal Home: Stuart loves to stretch those long legs of his and run at top   speed.  So we are looking to place Stuart in a home with a securely fenced yard.  Stuart also loves to play with other dogs .  A home with another  small  dog or perhaps one where he goes to doggy day care a few times a week  would be ideal.  His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application .   *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up   .  February 22, 2025, 4:25 pm

Story
My name is Sage and I am about 12- week-old puppy: here is my story.  I came into the rescue with my 2 sisters and 1 brother. We were left in a bin at a park. Thank God, someone found us, they took us to this nice rescue. Now we are all safe and happy puppies. I am the explorer of the group. My foster mom says, if there is a way out of the puppy play area, I would find the way out. I am the only one that has socks on my feet.  I am known for being the best kisser and will shower you with affection.  I'm a very playful girl who would absolutely love to have a friend to explore and run with and I get along great with everyone I meet. I am looking for a family where someone is home most of the time to continue with my house training, doggy socialization and to give me lots of love and attention. Sage is very much a puppy and will need a patient owner whom will work with her on my basic training. While I am an indoor dog, I love the fresh air outside and will need a home with a nice, safe fenced yard to run and play in with my family.  I am sorry but I am not suited for apartment/condo living. My adoption fee is $350 dollars and that includes my vaccinations, a microchip and spayed. Please be sure you are ready for the antics of a puppy and a 15+ year commitment when applying. Sage is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   Adoption Application - Help A Dog Smile .  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Thank God, someone found us, they took us to this nice rescue.  I love to sit on your lap and getting extra loving but when I am ready for bed, I will put myself to bed and crawl up in my create and fall asleep.  My foster mom says I am an absolute joy to have around. Meet Dawes – Your Loyal Little Sidekick! Dawes is a sweet and affectionate pug puppy who is embracing the joys of indoor living! He’s still learning the ropes, but his loving nature shines through in everything he does. He adores being petted, will happily lean into you for affection, and is always eager to be near his favorite people. This friendly boy is wonderful with kids and gets along well with other dogs, greeting them with playful bows and happy tail wags. He’s calm in the car and does well on a leash, though he prefers shorter strolls before settling in for some cuddle time. Dawes is crate trained and making progress on his potty training. He’s learned how to use a doggy door but hasn’t quite connected it with bathroom breaks yet, so he’ll need a patient family to continue guiding him. With consistency and love, he’ll get there in no time! With his big heart and eager-to-please personality, Dawes is ready to become someone’s devoted companion. Story
Meet Pepe Sr.! This sweet 2-year-old pug may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his playful side shines! Pepe Sr. was surrendered by his previous owner and is still learning to navigate new experiences with confidence. He does best in a calm environment where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. Pepe Sr. is kennel trained and doing well with potty training—he just needs consistent potty breaks to stay on track. He’s a smart little guy who picks up new things quickly and loves a good meal (treats are definitely the way to his heart!). Though he can be hesitant around new people, he gets along well with kids and other dogs, especially since he tends to take on a more submissive role. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pug who just needs a little patience to blossom into his best self, Pepe Sr. could be the perfect match for you! 💛

Story
🖤 Uno – The Gentle Snoozer 🖤 Uno may be a senior, but she’s still got plenty of love to give! This sweet girl spends most of her day snoozing and cuddling, making her the perfect companion for a calm and quiet home. Though she’s blind, Uno navigates her space well with just a few minor bumps along the way. She LOVES crinkly toys and perks up at the sound of a treat bag—she’ll even sit before you ask! Uno is on daily anxiety medication due to her current lively household, but in a quieter home, she may not need as much. She prefers to be the only dog since it takes her a long time to warm up to new pups. She’ll let you know when she smells another dog, which can sometimes make introductions tricky. She’s an early riser and early-to-bed kind of gal, does great with the groomer and vet, and is fully kennel trained—often retreating to her crate with the door open for comfort. Uno does need her food portioned out, as free feeding leads to overeating. While her remaining eye has been recommended for removal, it no longer causes issues. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who enjoys the simple things in life, Uno is your girl! 🖤

Story
🐾 Meet Peanut – A Sweet and Affectionate Companion 🐾 Peanut is a lovable 9-year-old pug who’s ready to find his next chapter. After 5 wonderful years with his family, he’s been surrendered due to a change in household circumstances—Grandma is moving in and unfortunately has allergies to dogs. Peanut has been a cherished member of the family and is now looking for a new forever home where he can continue to share his love and joy. ✨ About Peanut ✨ Peanut is a calm and affectionate pug who loves being around people, both familiar and new. He’s friendly with strangers and gets along well with other dogs and even cats! He’s potty trained and crate trained, and he enjoys a relaxed, indoor lifestyle. Peanut is well-behaved, never showing any signs of aggression or resource guarding, though he doesn't love to share his food. He enjoys cuddles, seeks out petting, and is generally a relaxed, easygoing companion. He’s also completely potty trained and does well with a structured feeding schedule (twice a day). 🚶‍♂️ Peanut’s Personality 🚶‍♂️ Peanut is a people-loving pup who enjoys being part of the family. He’s calm and confident in most environments and is always ready for a snuggle or some quiet companionship. Loud noises and new people can startle him, but he quickly adjusts. He’s also very well-behaved in his crate and doesn’t show any signs of separation anxiety when left alone. 🍽️ Food & Care 🍽️ Peanut eats regular dog food twice a day and is not on any special diet or medications. He’s healthy and active for his age and is ready to bring his gentle, affectionate nature into his new forever home. 🏡 Could Peanut Be Your New Best Friend? 🏡 Peanut is an easygoing, affectionate pug looking for a quiet, loving home where he can be your loyal companion. He’ll make an excellent addition to a family who enjoys his calm, friendly demeanor and is ready to offer him the love he deserves. Could you be the one to provide his forever home? Apply to adopt Peanut today and give this sweet boy the second chance he deserves! 💖🐾
