Hi , my boys are 2 years old they’re littermates never been apart I would really love to keep it that way if possible. They love playing with eachother and toys bones etc. unfortunately things didn’t go as planned with them and we’ve just been roughing it out together. They are very loyal and affectionate. Looking for someone with enough space and time for them as my life has gotten very busy and I’m in the middle of moving. No adoption fee because I really want to do them the service of finding them a great home.

Cherry Extract A17066490 lb. spayed female, approx 4 years old -Big girl who’s strong on leash-She absolutely loves food! -Very treat motivated-Sits occasionally but would rather go into a lay down-We are currently working on being “easy” with snacks and she is getting it but will need work still.-Chases toys outside but hasn’t played with any yet-Enjoys pets and wiggling on her back for belly rubs-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. •The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit

Mr. Bighead is in his most fragile age - adolescence. He thrives with routine, and is slowly gaining confidence - for example doesn't know how to work his doggy-door. Since Mr. Bighead is a mastiff, he comes with extra drool and slobber! He does know some basic commands - like sit and leave it - and is eager to learn if food is involved! He loves his snacks and cuddle sessions, but also really loves to play outside, play fetch, and run in the yard. He walks well on an easy-walk harness, loves a lick mat, and will give you kisses endlessly. He's affectionate and is often described as a gentle giant. He will fit into any robust household where he is able to be a big, clumsy boy. He someone who is not only knowledgable of his breed, but also dedicated to his positive reinforcement training. Mastiffs are oftentimes stubborn and take time to adjust, learn, and warm up to those around them. Fang needs patience, understanding, and commitment. Kids 14 and up are okay, but please no physically fragile household members. Adoption is $275. Mr. Bighead is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
