Story
Nikita is a wonderful pure-bred 5-year-old white Siberian husky with 2 different colored eyes (green and blue!) She is a beautiful dog and very chill. Unlike most huskies, she hardly makes a peep. She mostly just likes to lay around and nap. She LOVES her walks and needs a place with land or at least a fenced in yard. She needs owners who have the time to give her the exercise she needs. We rescued her from a neglect situation but we do not have the land she needs to live her best life. The issue here is that she takes off any chance she can get out the door and runs away. We are worried for her safety. We know she will be so much happier in a place where she can spend lots of time running around outside. She is great with children. We have 3 little boys and she does not mind them climbing all over her. We also have another dog (lab mix) that she does just fine with.

Story
This is Ruby. A husky. Loves outside. Friendly. About 7 years-old. Female, spayed, vaccinations not up-to-date. This is a fun, sweet, affectionate dog who will look you in the eye and come to you for hugs, talking and a belly rub. Loves, loves the outside and walks. Has been in a run outside for a few months. (in VA) End of run is covered with a large chicken house for shelter with crate inside. Family has moved away, left two pets in care of young man who is not up to the task. Owner family has asked me to find dog a home. At our home, on day and night number one, Ruby did know where to go to the bathroom unless I took her out every few hours. Now on day three, when I take her out, she does one and two, and looks at me and is very happy when I say, good girl. Was crate trained and was quiet at night; didn't mess crate. Needs mature, smart, kind owner who will train and keep her and has resources to do so and not rehome her!
