If you've got another dog who likes to run and play, they'll be besties in no time! Now, Mary does have one little quirk: she's barrier reactive. Translation? She gets a bit excited (okay, *a lot* excited) when she sees other dogs, people, or anything that moves behind a fence or when on a leash. Don't worry—she's a quick learner and just needs some training to help her keep her cool. Mary would thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner who's ready to give her the exercise, training, and love she craves. She's active, but also a total cuddle monster once she's burned off some energy. Older kids who understand her boundaries would be a great fit, too. Story
Kylo is an 8 year old, 45 lb. remarkably chill, male Husky mix. He is housetrained, crate trained and knows basic commands like sit, down and shake. Kylo's fur is a little thin in places due to a thyroid condition but it doesn't slow him down at all. He knows he's a handsome boy and likes to prance around to show it. Kylo loves going for walks, hikes, car rides and playing fetch. He also loves snuggling on the couch with his humans and just lounging for a belly rub. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. His condition does require him to take medication 2x/day, which he does with no problems. Kylo is a very sweet pup who would just love to settle down in his furever home.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. This super cute little lady is Maisie, a 9-year-old PomChi, looking for a forever home. Maisie loves toys, is great with other dogs, doesn’t seem to pay any attention to the cats in her foster home and is always up for a cuddle session. Maisie would do best in a quiet home without a lot of activity – a couple or single person would be ideal. She is learning to use a dog door to do outside and doing very well. Maisie would benefit from some training – the word “No” is not her favorite. This sweet girl is perfect for you, if you’re looking for a funny, loving, cuddly little do.g to join your family Maisie has been spayed, has had a recent dental cleaning, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
