Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey friends! My name is Kodabear. I appear to be a husky mix, but without all of the singing. I’m a striking two-year old boy weighing around 50 pounds. I could stand to gain a few for sure. I’m a playful, athletic guy that loves affection from my humans. I am almost potty trained and already know how to sit, shake and lay down on command. I still get the zoomies in the morning and evening. It’s pretty cute, if I do say so myself. Right now I’m sleeping in my crate at night and when my foster family leaves the house. I don’t love it, to be honest, but I’m getting used to it really fast. I’m good on a leash, but loud cars and sounds startle me a bit. I think I can move passed this with a little training. I’m smart and have a lot of energy, so I do need regular exercise, but I have an off switch and am content to curl up next to you and just hang out. Right now I’m working on fetching. I think I’m getting the hang of it, but I don’t always want to return the ball. I love toys, car rides and playing with other dogs, but sometimes I come on a little strong. I’m not great at sharing toys with other dogs, so I’ll need your help with this. I’m easily corrected though and really just want to have fun. I’m currently living with other dogs and cats and doing well with them. My foster family hasn’t seen me with young children, but they think I’d do best with respectful kids over eight since I’m kind of tall and can jump when I get really excited. If you’re in search of a super affectionate, furry friend, let’s meetup! I would love to be your constant companion!
