Story
Amos got to us after he had to go from the animal shelter to the vet clinic for an amputation. We don’t know why his front left leg was so damaged. We do know that the night of his surgery he managed to rip out all of his stitches and laid his head on the vet tech’s shoulder while getting wrapped for repair surgery the next morning.He is not quite a typical Husky as he’s very laid back. He doesn’t use his voice near as often as most Huskies although he does have a little growl in his conversational voice which isn’t nearly as off-putting as it might sound.Amos has great house manners, does fine on a leash, and would be a perfect go-everywhere boy for his family. He adores his humans and is very loving and outgoing. He is a social boy and meeting new people and animals is easy for him. He’s fine with cats and seems to ignore the livestock kids at his foster home.He is very engaged with his humans and loves to be as close when he doesn’t want to spend time watching the world go by from his perch on the porch. He will often ask to sleep outside but is willing to do what his human feels is best.Amos is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Apollo was adopted as a puppy from a breeder. Over time the family dynamic has changed and the family no longer has the time to give him the care and attention he deserves. They reached out to LHS for assistance finding him a more suitable home.  Apollo is very well mannered and eager to please. He knows basic commands, is housebroken and crate trained. He loves walks and does wonderful with dogs, cats and children of all shapes and sizes.  He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and current on vaccinations.  DOB: 3/19/20 Weight: 65lbsWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Story
Joey is a sweet and loving 6-year-old Pomeranian mix who’s looking for a family to call his own. This little guy loves to play tug-of-war, go for car rides, and cuddle up in your lap for some quality snuggle time. He’s house and crate trained, making him a great fit for a variety of living situations. Although Joey has a previous leg injury, it doesn’t slow him down! He gets around just fine and still enjoys his daily walks and playtime. His loyalty to his human is unmatched – he will be your little shadow, always by your side. Joey thrives in a calm, loving home where he can get plenty of attention and affection. He’d do well as the only pet or in a home with other dogs that respect his space. He’s a great companion for someone who enjoys a mix of fun and relaxation, with lots of cuddles in between. Adoption Fee 275.00     We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program.
