Named for his constant grin and tail wags, Felix is a super sweet boy who looks just like a Dingo; he could have some husky in him. The vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He weighs 50 lbs. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, has learned his new name, and the word “No.” He responds to whistling and “come” with moderate consistency. He is very friendly to other dogs and humans of all ages. He does not give kisses, ever, but loves to get hugs, snuggles, and scritches. He LOVES to run and play. He has a lot of energy (and endurance!), but isn’t hyperactive. He does well on a leash when he is walked solo, but if other dogs are around he just tries to run to greet and play with them. He especially loves rough-and-tumble wrestling, chase, and tug. He is totally happy being at the bottom of the pecking order here at my house and tolerates being herded and bossed around by one of my dogs, Raza. Surprisingly, he is very tolerant of her putting him in his place! If he isn’t playing with one or more of the other pups, he likes to get pets, nap, and keep me company. He is heartworm positive and will be treated soon. Lumi is a stunning approximately 3 year old pomeranianwho weighs about 7 lbs. .She came to us from an animal emergency clinic with a broken leg. The person who dropped her off could not afford her expensive vet care; and it has been expensive! The rescue has already paid for three cast changes. However, she is healing well, and should soon be ready to have her last cast removed. She is an active little girl, who will have a blast running on all four legs. Lumi is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on shots and preventatives. This little show stopper is working on house breaking. She gets along perfectly with all the other dogs in her foster home. We suggest she be in a single family house, because when she decides to bark a lot of sound can come out of her tiny throat.
